@HRVAT1975 mailny cause the owners think they drive a ferrari when in reality the 1st gen s197 roushes only made about 440hp with a supercharger and they were kept stock being raced against more superior cars, hell the 427R and 428R are dead even with a Coyote 5.0 Mustang stock :S

@Rodney348 probably an untouched car. That SRT obviously has A LOT of mods under the hood. Relatively cheap to upgrade too.

@Rodney348 So what because the mustang is a supercharged V8 is not supposed to lose?? We dont even know the mods on the SRT, which doesn't take much to get near 400whp, which is probably more than what the 427R is pushing at the wheels and the SRT has the weight advantage.

What do you mean what am i talking about? stock they are slow they get walked by bolt on and gear gts of the same year all the time on the strip and streets the average driver on street tires has trouble breaking out of the 13s with those tall 3.31gears and NO they aren't as fast as a gt 500

dude go do research they have 3.31 and 3.55 gears and with 3.55 there pullin 12.2s and by the way thats faster than the shelby

ha 12.2 is with slicks great track and driver. On average they have trouble breaking 13s even with the 3.55s on stock tires. They also do not trap above 110 stock but the gt 500 traps a 110-115stock and on stock tires average runs are mid to high 12s but with slicks great driver and track they can pull a 12 flat if not a high 11 pass. oh and btw where are you located i would love to run you in my gt!

ya this is my car and im not making any excuses but he runs 11.9 and ya i couldnt beat him he pulls to hard top end. theres not that many roushes period i dont think. im in alaska and im the only one around here with one. i used to have an 06 gt with boltons but i am much happier with this car.

ya im still on stock supercharger i was pushing 12-14 psi but im not sure anymore they said it will go up? i just ordered all my stuff so its going to be at least another two weeks

well ive done alot since summer first i went all stage 5, then i desided to go another rought. so at the time of this race i was pushing like 8-10 psi. but i will upgrade next supercharger next year, ran out of money haha

Actaully the Gears are just Fine on the Roush along with the Tires. Not bad. But that SRT4 Definately had some mods. with a 4.6 Litre Under the Hood with a Roots Type Blower puttin out 435 HP thats plenty.
