I sent a sympathy card with a letter to the Roth family and was so surprised and moved to recieve a very kind, handwritten reply from Eileen. Totally blew me away as I'm sure she heard from all over the world. What a lady!

BACK IN '65. WHEN I WAS IN THE 5TH GRADE, NEXT TO THE SCHOOL WAS A CANDY SHOP RUN BY A VERY OLD MAN AND HIS WIFE. AMONG THE CANDY THEY SOLD, THEY HAD RAT FINK. I BOUGHT THEM EVERY WEEK. FINALLY, MY PERSISTANCE PAID OFF. I UNWRAPPED THE ULTIMATE PRIZE. THE RAT FINK RING!! GREAT MEMORIES!1 TO THIS DAY, I HAVE A RAT FINK DECAL ON MY MUSTANG WINDOW!

I'm an Aussie and I remember back in the late '60's - early '70's - collecting Big Daddy Roth cards - they were bubble gum cards actually - My parents were horrified - I loved them - I sure do miss those days ---

i met her at the frankenmuth autofest in frankenmuth mi. she is a really nice lady and she autographed my shirt. rat fink is the inspiration for every wrench ive ever turned. RIP BIG DADDY

My mother promised me I could pick out my own walpaper in 1968. I chose Mr. Gasser and Rat Fink. My mother was shocked but had to honor her promise. So Till I moved out in 1981 I looked at Big Daddy's work on my walls..
