WATCHING THESE MOVIES AS A CHILD I DID NOT REALIZE UNTILL NOW THAT I'M OLDER THAT THESE MOVIES MADE THE MEXICAN LOOK LIKE A PATHETIC SAVAGE THAT ALWAYS LOST THE BATTLES JUST SO CLINT E COULD BE THE WESTERN HERO. STILL IT IS A CLASSIC MOVIE THAT I LOVE.
1:33 LOL. I have a special edition DVD commented by Lione's biographer and its hilarious how he describes this scene. The preparation they had was just mental compared to today's standards, that rock could have actually seriously hurt one of them.
at 1:33 you can see a piece of rock shrapnel thats about the same size of a fist. That piece of rock would have killed clint eastwood if it hadnt narrowly missed by 2 feet.
one of the best director and composer Leone and morriconne, i also used his music for my Drawing Art video, i could listen to this all day long...awesome video!!!
How does this video only have 2,301 views! Unbelievable! Excellent video, you captured the essence and feel of the film perfectly, magnificent selection of clips and the best part of the whole soundtrack which overall is very good. Nice job!
as usual another brilliant video of the masters Leone/Morricone's material. thanks for taking the time to make and post these for us, pure joy to watch
I recently saw a doc about Wallach recalling the story about the Spanish army engineers having to rebuild the bridge their captain had accidentally exploded. Leone was waiting for the clouds to pass and the cameras were not rolling. Also, Wallach almost poisoned himself when he drank from a bottle lying around full of acid that he thought was a lemon soda he was fond of. The acid used to burn the bags filled with gold coin to make them rip open easier when struck with the spade.
Great Tribute dude!

All wars are horrible but the American Civil War must indeed rank as the most bloody and futile (after the Great War )

Russia Civil War was more bloody than the American.

This is one awesome video, pal.
Perfectly composed with some of the best scenes from this masterpiece.
Must have been a bitch to pick these images out of the million of great scenes, quotes and images, huh?
And you just made up my mind:
I will spend tomorrow night with Eli Wallach, Clint and Lee van Cleef
(not the worst company one can have, I might add...)
Thank you for this great video!! Much love and respect from Germany, pal!!
Peace!
