Interesting to note that Barney never liked this song and refused to play it many times in their final years much to Hooky's chagrin who loved the song. Now with Hookey out of the band he plays it? I am mighty glad i saw them in 82, 84, 85, 87 and 2002. I'll give them a miss this time.

@MottTheWot Roger that - the new bass player can't emulate Hooky's lines and it screws up the songs. Like I've said elsewhere on YT, New Order was mainly Hooky and Morris to me, with a bit of Barney thrown in.

@lagowski Are you kidding? Bernard Sumner plays a HUGE part in New Order AND ever in Joy Division. Maybe live his presence is not as impressive, but I'm sure behind the scene, in the studio, New Order wouldn't exist without him. The band wouldn't exist without the three original members equally and add Gillian and it's even better.

I have yet to see them live. However, it is sad to see one of my favorite bands torn apart, and aging. It is kinda foreign to me seeing Stephen with glasses on.

several things - love the bass player, Bernard still can't sing, and finnaly, they are still great!
