Oh my gosh! Such cute dirty little things! Our puppies would do that when we took them outside for a short period too. They'd be all clean, but one short romp in the yard and they'd get water and mud all over them. Hilarious! Love seeing doggies be doggies. =)

lol..yea..my lab lives in the house. I put him out when he wants out and he gets in when he wants in. He is put out on a 15 foot steel cable which gives him 30 feet of movement inside a 360 degree area. He no doghouse because he does not live outside. People are always telling me how cruel I am which is comical. That dog lives better than a lot of people that I know and he is always in the house when nobody is home. Not in a kennel box.

Just a piece of advice... when I had a litter of pups (Goldens :) ) thaty had ribbons tied on them to identify by and one got caught on the wire pen when jumping up and almost died due to suffocation as the other pups trampled her. Litters are now identified by a nail polish marking on a small amount of fur on their head. Not touching the scalp btw.

Be careful with ribbons/strings/collars in pens.

Their cute i went to one to pik out my pup at 4 weeks in a pen and they were adorable but i heard the ur not soposed to let them outside when they r so little.

Most people have those pens to put their puppies in either because they don't have a fenced yard or so they can let the puppies have an open space to play in while the owner is away, instead of having to lock them up in a crate because they will pee or destroy the house or hurt themselves on household things. It's recommended to get a pen for puppies while the owner is away. Try getting a little educated before you leave idiotic comments on videos that just make YOU look stupid.

@lilpup27 Yeah, we had a special pen when our dog had puppies so that she (our dog) could get in and out to nurse and clean them, but they couldn't get out. It let them move around and have space, but also kept them safe (they could've hurt themselves on household things, as you said). :)

The puppies were only outside for about an hour, it was NOT cold!!! If you listen to the first of the video I say that they were playing in thier water, which is how they got all wet. :o) They were having FUN!!!

goldens are water dogs... those pups were old enough to stay outside if you needed to keep them out. A little cold and water never hurt a golden - they live for that!

And even if it was cold, goldens love it. They love water too-- And if you keep your puppy closed up in the house it'll become very sheltered and co dependant and mess all in your house. They NEED that outside time, they need to learn outside manners. They are just fine and probably going to be well potty trained Dogs. They are not fragile like little dogs, being outside whether its cold or not isnt doing them any harm. Wet from Bath or Drinking water. Ease up Sheesh

Pretty much all Retreivers do. I have two Labrador Retrievers who will go into our pond the instant the ice melts. Sometimes before. We'd stop them, but it's us versus a combined 280 lbs. of active dog.... I have no idea how they can stand it, but they love it. And one of them would stay outside all day if we let him (and if it's nice out, we do).
