I notice with this technique that I lose too much hair from the chin/jaw area. The angle shoots too far back toward the shoulder. Is there any way to compensate using this technique that will not remove so much hair in front of the shoulders? Thanx! Love your work!

When you really think about it you can twist either way as your replacing hand can come from the top or from underneath. The most important thing to remember is always begin holding the section with your cutting/scissor hand.

Hello, I am confused. I know you explained how to do this for Lefty (which I am) but I still do not understand. I am a visual learned. I know this must sound like a dumb question especially after you told me how to do it but I can not see how to do it in my head. I cant only learn by observing and do not understand how to learn other ways. This is my weak point. Cant someone dumb it down for me please by steps to I can learn how to do this. Respond to this comment please.

@grrlogin Also do i twist the hair the other way since I am left handed or twist it the same way as in the video and cut left handed and it will come out the same way? Sorry, I'm slow. lol :)

@grrlogin If you're left handed, you twist the opposite direction. Right hands twist left, left hands twist right!

2- twist the hair so ur fingers are perpendicular to the floor

3-switch hands.. twist again so that fingers are parallel to the floor

4-cut!

On the demostration film you sayed first with your right hand turning then take over with left hand and cutting with the right hand. But by the repeat you sayed the otherway around....I think

@darthclone7 well one of the first people i tried it on was one of my regulars, i tried it on her, but made sure to blend it in with the sides, she came back a week later, said how much she loved it and how many compliments she got on it ,and booked me again. but thats just my experience. :)

i WANNA TRY TWIST cutting 2x like layering except what i want to see is my front go from short,medium,then long probably is layering but i can see the angles without using flat iron
