well i already istalled USSD Pad, and i can only open it the part with the numbers. when i go to my "desktop" it switches once again to landscape. what should i do?

@dickiedocker i took a photo from the net that on the right it was the beggining of the left side,i cut it in 4 equal pices and then i wrote a small code on a text file, and put it on my n900.

i uploaded them here:

just unrar the files, and put them in your image folder;p

This is not clear how it works. I have USSD Pad installed. I'm not clear on exactly what happened after that point.

Moreover, there's a decent chance this is a scam based on what Wikipedia says that USSD does.

If this is *not* a scam, can you just type out, in plain text, what to do to activate portrait mode? Thanks.

@thezapdad it is not a scam my friend:) it WAS a glitch...for a period it was easy to do, but they recently updated the ussd pad and the n900 firmware, so the glitch doesnt work anymore. before you say that i am a scammer, a lier or something, read the first comments that show that this actually USED TO WORK :)

@arshaad29 i think that they made an update to the USSD pad app, so that this glitch doesnt work :(

i've recently removed the USSD pad because of memory issues, and after i reinstalled it, the portrait mode didnt work :(

okay i did typed the 'sudo gainroot' on xterminal

then i entered and it says

root shell enabled.. did i got it right??

then i proceeded to the next procedures..

but when i typed Is it says not found

-sudo gain root (enter)

-cd MyDocs/.documents (enter) [if you saved in another folder, write the path]

-dpkg -i TheNameOfFileHere.deb

you w8 a little, and after about 1-2 minutes youll see the ussd pad as an app at the others folder
