Curvy roads r fun; they keep u wide awake! :D Recently had to rush thru 2 states in 3 days; 36 exhausting hours excluding breaks, never again! :D Made untimely passes thru a summit around midnight-early morning. Saw nothing but fog, rain, hail, n snow at different slopes, n driving on ice is like driving on gravel. :P Scarily beautiful! :D Didn't think it'd be still snowing at the time so no chains. :o) Poor freightliner trucks had to line up in freezing darkness to put on (n take off) chains.
yea Taiwan looks sweet as hell. as long as the mcdonalds arches look the same i think i could live a while without knowing korean of whatever they speak.
10 day tour for a grand sounds pretty awesome, think i should save up to go check it out, even the scenery you show in your other vids of taiwan is really nice. would love to go :D. Oh and BC2? Add me! Sinsaiba PSN
For some reason those Asians with the yoohoo or whatever looked cool...but will you have some kind of opt-out program, where you can just go for part of a tour instead of paying for the full 10 days? Or a mini-tour set?
How do you handle license issues to ride over there? If your licensed in your home country we can ride in Taiwan? Any idea on price packages? Also would the packages include air fairs, accommodation etc?
Package includes EVERYTHING except airfare.....no way for me to figure that out worldwide. But if you search online for cheap airfares you can get a 2 way for around a grand. Swap your local license to an international before coming.
You might wanna update your Ducati knowledge database.. most of their stuff doesn't have the dry clutch anymore, the service intervals have been doubled and they're not falling apart as much.
Wouldnt be a duke fan myself, uncle has a handmade carbon fibre 998, sure its pretty to look at but ud never be comfortable riding it fast due to fear of crashing / damaging it.. Yamaha for me, R1 all the way =)
hey bro what kinda bikes will ppl on the tour be riding .......? just wondering cuz i was thinking about if i have enough money for the tour? and wanted to find out the bikes cuz idk if i can cope with the scooter =]
What about insurance or insurance waivers dude...not all of the people who take the tour know how to ride...you don't want to take responsibility for careless riding.
I agree with you about the handling abilities of a Ducati. One must have the valves adjusted every so many thousand and that can be expensive if you don't know how to do it. Other than that they are bullet proof. Ducati started making fine handling bikes with the roundcase model in the early 70's. All hand made. Those bikes simply carve the curves. I feel fortunate to own one. A ducati would be a great option for your tour. Especially in the mountain curves.
Keep it in mind. I know with any business venture the clientele can, and will change. As they become older and more secure with their finances, they demand more options. Also, there are a couple of ways to target your customers. High end customers expect to pay more. If the low price high volume does not work out, try the high price, low volume. Marketing is the key. You are a personality, and I think people would pay more for that.
Well... Perhaps.. I'm just saying that sportsbikes have a nice low center of gravity and that always helps when it comes to cornering & balance. The seating ony your bike is a little more upright. But i'm probably wrong.
The Er6 isn't a fleshed out sportsbike is all I said. So yeah, its not unnatural to feel ill-at-ease on the bends. It's a streetbike, and a good one as far as they go... Brilliant for stuning , good fun & torquey. Just saying cornering is probably better on a low cg sportsbike
Those slow road are the better is where you can lean in "security" i come from italy we have a lot of great mountain road with also straight to go fast xd
That's the way M13 does his videos. These "series" videos (you can tell because of the name - TT3, TT2, TT1 etc.) are one long video, then he cuts it up and releases it gradually. Subscribe and stay tuned for the rest of the video ;)
?? The tour includes everything. And the first tour is almost fully booked and I haven't even opened the website yet. And my tours are less than half the price of comparable ones I've found on the net.
You should make or let the riders have regular breaks, by all means go through mountains.. but stop at regular parks.. cafes or sites of interest. People who dont ride daily or often would not enjoy three days of hardcore mountain climbing.
Another thing I thought of M13, your going to have people coming for the tour that are typical westerners and probably don't have half the skills you do.
Will they be able to take the road-shock, (rather then culture-shock)?
The tours sound like they're going to be great fun.
I'm sure you're going to have to show your face whilst doing the tours however but that will make your them all the more popular due to your online "celebracy". Everyone will want to go on the tour just to see what you look like. lol
Clever marketing technique.
You should ban photographs of you though for obvious reasons.
i would absolutely love to do this tour. unfortunately i dont have the money to make huge trips. if youre still doing the tours in a few years, maybe i'll look into it eh?
M is your plan to take people on a dangerous road, so they get killed and then you don't need to give a tour. If so make them pay before they get killed.
Am I kidding about what? The price of his tours has nothing to do with the fact that I have a low-paying job, troll. I also believe M13 is undercharging for this tour, and I'm sure people who can afford it would pay a lot more on top of that. Unfortunately I cannot afford it. But I hope this business takes off for him.
Sigh... m13 please never stop making videos, they honestly get me through the day. I have like 150+ subscriptions, and I watch like at least 50 full videos daily (No, Im not in education, nor do I work full time :p )
