This documentary make seriously false conclusions of the game theory. in a prisoner's dilemma, it's better for both actors to cooperate! By following their self-interested strategy, actors would end up with a worse and Pareto-inefficient outcome! The cold-war strategy is not a PD, but a chicken game and it's rational result is sub-optimal too! How is it possible that a documentary about game theory says the opposite that the theory has actually revealed? Simply put: this documentary is rubbish.
@Politoblog. Wouldn't it depend on the outcome of betrayal? In a situation like the earlier one, where both players hide something that both of them hold valuable, it would be better to betray the other person.
If cooperation results in a moderate outcome, you betraying and the partner cooperating in an optimum result, and both of you betraying in the least favourable result (in some other kind of game), than cooperation is the safest.
@Politoblog the PD starts with the premise that the prisoners didn't talked before hand to establish a strategy together, so they don't know what the other is going to do. Then the best outcome for both is to betray each other.
It's funny how the video just cuts out at the end. No end credits or conclusion or anything. I wonder what you are trying to hide? The misuse of game theory for your own selfish needs me thinks.
What kind of BS subjective question is, 'Does your mood often go up and down?' Define 'often,' 'up,' and 'down,' please. I watched a football game; my team started to win, then to lose, then to win, then it seemed they would lose and in the last moment they won. My mood went 'up and down' pretty 'often' in the course of a single game. Please make me pay $400 a month for Seroquell. Should be called 'Soul-Quell.'
@Screwschom i doubt its adhd , its likely because people look for the number 4 after the number 3. ie, 1 2 3 "4",... not 1 2 3 "epilogue". i'd say that's ya problem right there, lol... unless you are a Doctor that wants to label everyone and judge them by their y-tube viewing habits.

Then this proves that you may be driven insane if you sat around watching football games all day and day after day.

I like how pt.1 has nearly 8k views and this epilogue has just over 1k views. ADHD at its finest perhaps?

@Screwschom That's the internet for you. Everyone skims because there is so much information and not enough time to consume it all.

@CaptnSC00BA Agreed, I was looking for part 4, it was the logical choice.
Typho0n86 5 months ago
@CaptnSC00BA ahh right, perhaps I should have noted that in each succeeding part the number of views is halved.

where is the last part? or it finishes on the 4th part?

Psychiatry is a sham. Always has been. An expensive, profitable sham, backed up by the chemical industry.

Only 60 views, they did a good job of dulling the mind of the masses.
