  • Hahaha! Hello, Dr. Bruce Banner.

    1. Some people read gossip magazines, some people read history books; regardless of era, people have a fascination with famous people.

    2. 6 volumes of of entertaining stuff isn't a lot. Time flies when you're having fun.

    3. ???

    4. Refer to #2. Why would you read 4 volumes of Twilight when you can read other things?

    5. Reading. Is. Fun.

  • Thanks for the comment. Allow me to answer your questions:

    1) I like reading history. History lets me take a break from reading about genetics and sociology

    2) 6 volumes isn't a lot

    3) I'm glad I get to read something substantial and still fun for me

    4) Twilight is NOT a break. I DESPISE TWILIGHT. Why should I read something I despise?

    5) I do study. reading history is downtime and fun reading.

I don't understand why you seem so angry, if not altogether shocked at the video.

  • I really don't understand some things. 1. Why would you read about famous people and historical events if you didn't have to, 2. Why would you read 6 volumes, 3. Why would you be so glad you get to, 4. if you have to read so much for graduate school, how would that be a break and not more work, especially if you're reading history and not something like Twilight, and 5. if you're going to be exerting so much effort reading in what little spare time you have left, why not study?

  • Ayo racheleverdene! There will be bigger booksales to come! Last night was just geek purgatory. There's geek heaven to look forward to! Weeeeeee!

  • Books? You mean people still buy books? I thought every one read from the Interwebs already. Hehe!

    *muwah!* :)

  • Oh yes, people still do research! It's really nice, to have a rich reference list with books and...interwebs sources, hahah!

    *muwah!*:)

  • I don't think they'll ever go out of style. My religion (Star Trek) says so. One of our revered prophets, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, has (will have) Shakespeare's book on the Enterprise.

  • Tsak Norris! Hehehe!
