  • Basile we love you over here!Keep up the good work you are amazing!Greetings from Patras,Greece! And you would love my granny to tell you the flidzani, she would give you omens of terrible death every day...Does it to me,i will die with 15 different ways, all of them bloody....

  • @Dash681 LOLOLOL...15 different ways! Priceless. Whenever my yiayia would read my cup, it was as he said, always good things: "you gonna get a letter..you gonna get some money...every now and then there was a "you have enemy" or "somebody talking 'bout you." I could never see what she was pointing at in the pattern in the demitasse anyway!

  • @Ellatha1 I know right?

''I see a cross, you will get married...one day'.Someone starting with P,and you will have children''

''I don't like this G. friends of yours,i see a dark aura around him''

-That's not aura yiayia, that's a muddy ass katakathi!Who can you see the future in coffee remains!

''Shhhh!Don't underestimate the coffee! It also protects you from the Mati''

    -Mhm....

  • @Dash681 Ha, ha! Although my mom swears that her mother read her grounds and told her she had an enemy and mom could see the perfect image of a face in the grounds. "That's not aura yiayia, that's a muddy ass katakathi!".....LOLOLOL! Now I never got that it protected you from the Mati but any superstition was possible, eh? When I whistled at night I was told to stop or the devil would come to my house....who needs the booogeyman after that!!!!

It's YAYA and the stressing on the last a.

  • @TheAgoraki In the south we tend to pronounce YIAyia accenting the first syllable while up north it's YiaYIA. Just a regional difference. He says PApou with the emphasis on the first syllable but we say PaPOU. Ain't nothing but a thang...
