Well if i get the chance to see it sometimes I will, I am surprised if that was a head gasket, they usually weep rather than let go in a spectacular fashion. To me it looks like a radiator hose flew of or a header tank burst. Either way it has to be a fun job....though i am sure he must haev boring paperwork to do afterwards.
