Some of us only need a basic computer for word processing and internet. I ama newer mac switcher and dont have much software for it. It was what i can afford and im happy with it. I use windows for my games and other junk but i like my mac. Obviously your a windows user but if not i am sorry to call you one. But this is a G4. The ratings for 800MHZ on PPC proccesors are different for those of Intel processors. 800mhz on a PPC equals about 1.4-1.7GHz in Intel

Yes i know but i bought this used of ebay for 185.50 when its market value is 300 and it works great. Three hour battery life too. But i dont want a pc laptop. I had three and i just didnt like them. I used windows all my life until last year and i am extremely happy with my decision. Also the G4 is completely a very good processor.
