Hey I am a ham radio operator, I do skywarn, ARES, RACES, ETC. Did they give you that pager or do you have it set up on your own. Im kinda jealous that they gave you use a pager. Its pretty cool, well happy chasing and maybe I will catch you on the bands one day,

hey man what brand and site did you get your rear top light bar, and your lapptop mount?

@miketheride Rear bar is a cheapy LED bar from eBay. It is from China so it takes a bit longer to get here, but the quality is just about the same as anybody. Check your PM for link.

Laptop mount is a Jotto Desk, actually nailed it off of craigslist for $15.

@deadkey61 In my updated videos I currently am tri-band capable and crossband repeat capable, 2m/440/33cm is what I have. I do have a CB radio but it's not installed right now.

@BNSFrailfan All over. I'd recommend either a Ram Mount or Jotto Desk. All the cheapy alternatives on eBay aren't good quality.

How long did it take you for all that and how much?

@clicclac1029 Well I started getting into chasing when I was 16 in 2009, at that point I had just gotten my license and was finally able to chase. The equipment I used in my Jeep was pretty basic, I purchased a scanner, CB and inverter. I then mounted a desktop and an LCD monitor in the Jeep which I already had, on top of that I'd recommend a GPS of some sort and a data plan as well.

Right now my trailblazer has many extras. It's been a 2 year process and I have quite a bit put into that truck

@superman8580 I seriously doubt that.. a cop isn't going to take my vehicle. It's mounted in the rear and rarely used.

i like. very cluttered, but at the same time very clean. is the trailblazer battery under the rear seat? i was thinking of getting one to replace my ram (no power, no space, no gas mileage) i am a VFD member here so i need somethin that can get up and go, plus i need more space. this shows me that i could deffinatly fit my 800 and cb with no problem. nice 'rig'

@incompletehunter yea, it was somewhat of a challenge to fit all my equipment and keep it organized. i've seen guys just throw stuff on the dash, not my ideal way. i recently installed a havis shield console for radios, video will be up when the equipment mounts are completed. battery is behind the driver side headlight, rear seat is a fuse area. i'm VFD as well, but we can't use POV's here, so what you see is chasing only. yea, you'd have plenty of space for an 800 and cb. thanks!

@truckerboyej79 Red/Amber/White is only legal in the back. Amber is legal in all directions, white is legal when stopped.
