  • You know who doesn't wear shoes for interviews? Sean Connery, that's who!

  • @shizzle5150 And socks are badly designed because they put the seams on the inside (they hurt the toes)

  • @prairiedogeric10 This is a true statement.

  • @prairiedogeric10 what a silly comment are u jealous because u do not have nice feet!!

  • @TOBY8111 Someone needs to watch the movie Finding Forrester

  • I love the last second or so when his eyes . . . are active. She's cute.

  • Sean isn't wearing any shoes in this clip .... hmmm.

Maybe he and this cute interviewer had a quick romp in the sack before this interview.

  • @cheeriosinabowl The interviewer is Stéphanie Renouvin, she is the grand daughter of Micheline Roquebrune. The woman Sean married in 1975. So she's basically his granddaughter too...

  • @FlorianC5

.... thanks for the info. Didn't know that.

  • I bet he fucked that interviewer chick.

  • @Zebonka I really don't think so, as she is his granddaugter by marriage.

  • I think that guarantees it.

  • @Zebonka of course his so old now and retire is for health care

  • and he did the RIGHT decision, bcse Indian Jones 4 sucked!! Aliens? Really Spielberg?

  • Sean is the coolest! I know he'd like that cute French chick to go to his hotel and she'd go, too. Sean rules!!

  • Sir Sean has done his time and provided a long line of quality entertainment. He'll live on in my mind as the real James Bond. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Mr. Connery and by the way; grind a fucking grape fruit in that bitch's face!

  • Put at least the slippers on, for god's sake! You're not Marlon Brando. And even he was disgusting doing so.

  • un acteur trop classe ,i love Sean Connery

  • Sean said "I`m not going to play Bond again". Then he signed for 007. His wife said "Never say never again". So that is where the title came from. I just found it a bit funny to think about after seing this.

  • He's had a good innings. Clearly he feels there aren't enough good parts and he's tired of the commerciality of Hollywood. He's had enough disputes as well and he will no doubt have the energy in his 80s to deal with them. Posterity will show he was a graceful, charismatic star who made 3 or 4 very good films i.e. Goldfinger, Man Who would be King, Untouchables, The Hill. He said all there was to be said about who he is and where he is at his AFI lifetime achievement award speech.

  • I love him...his work his smile...his humor...let him be happy. Well done I say...and enjoy!

  • Please Sean come back for Indy 5, you're the only one who could save the saga!

  • how can he come back? he was dead in 4?

  • @BananaSandwich1 They've said it is not sure the fact he's dead. He could be missing or something. For Brody, on the other hand, it is done, because the actor is dead.

  • Merci.

  • Ah ! Sean Conery is interviewed by his little daughter Stéphanie Renouvin.

    Intéressant.

  • His presence, and his integrity, will be greatly missed.

  • Respect

  • The loss is ours. C'est la vie!

  • Excellent, really excellent interview. He is a real man, speaks his mind but polite also. Thanks Sean

  • You will always be remembered and respected because you are simply the best, enjoy you retirement. sir Sean Connery you have given us the world!

  • Did anyone else notice that when "People like uh, George Clooney and sort of, um, Sean Penn..." get subtitled, they for some reason include director Steven Soderberg, though he never mentions him? Strange. It's at about the 0:50 mark.

  • @davidlazlo he does say 'soderberg'. no steven though.

  • @MultiMrDam Wow. You are definitely correct. But wow, "Soderbergh" definitely turns into something very similar to "sort of, er" (I said um earlier, but "er" would have been closer).

  • he is a beauty

  • LOL he always says "i get fed up with these idiots and fools no one can play bond better than me im far too scottish for that" he somtimes seems abit full of him

  • Congratulation for your career sir Sean Connery, Total respect

  • ¡come back Sean! ¡come back, please!

  • this is too sad!

  • she's hot

  • Well, it's too bad he won't be back. But I do agree with him about the way things are done and unfortunately it's not just in the motion picture business.

  • Stéphanie is so beautiful, that's her name right?

  • and she also has a beautiful voice, she's so sweet

  • I love Sean Connery just as much as the next person, but the guy's an egomaniac.

  • I don't think so. I think he just answers sincerely to the questions. And I think you're an idiot.

  • GO FUCK YOURSELF!

  • No.

  • Enjoy your retirement, because you have EARNED it!

  • PLEASE COME BACK SEAN! WHE MISS YOU!

  • connery 's right fuck all those fags in hollywood

  • The League of Extraordinary Gentleman film not only utterly destroyed on of the greatest comic series ever but also ended Sean Sonnery's career. :/

  • That movie may have been a poor choice for Connery's swan song, even if Connery did not intend for it to be his last, at the time. (And it's not like this film, while far from the greatest, was all that horrible.) No doubt, however, he could have kept working, as none of his fans would have said, "'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' was such a stinker I'll never see a Sean Connery movie again." No, the only thing that ended Sean Connery's career was Sean Connery.

  • Secondly, this film did end his career. As he has said on numerous interviews, his experience working on this horrendous movie, with the dishonest, incompetent producers and particularly the horrendously inept Director put him off Hollywood for good. After nearly five decades of great acting, you can hardly blame him. Yes he could have continued if he wanted to (obviously), but he didn't need the money, so why bother?

  • No big deal whatever man.

    I'd apologize but people reject.

But for the record, alright, I'm sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick.

    No I'm not a 's***house' I understand I made a misjudgement. I'll remove my "insult".

  • @wright9342: oh sorry :S

  • Sean Connery is absolutely fantastic, my favourite actor and always will be. Fair enough for him taking a stand and wanting to be respected as he should be - he was knighted for his contribution to film, so if somethings not going right, then he would know. Love you Sean xxxxxxx

    Good bye lord Connery!

  • Nothing lasts forever but his movies will last for a very long time and that is enough. His honesty is admirable. He certainly deserved his retirement. Many of the great actors of the past century will pass to the next world in this one unfortunately but their movies will live on.

  • sean connery is the real james bond the best 007

  • the girl who makes the interview is the little girl by alliance of Sean connery.

    (sorry for my bad translation)

  • @zwan2. His "daughter-in-law" would be a good translation I think :o)

Anyway, it's a great loss not to have Sean in films but, as balaam2008 says, it's time to move on.

All the best Sean and thanks for the memories.

  • After watching the really bad bad movie that (sadly) Indy 4 is I´m glad he refused to appear in it. It´s true that in recent years he starred in even worse movies but anyway such a wise decision...

I've algo recently watched him in The Wind and the Lion. Unforgettable performance!

  • Agree. The movie was awful, and perhaps it was a good thing he didn't appear in it. CGI monkeys and gophers would have probably gotten more screen time. Please George Lucas, stop disgracing the legacy of films I loved as a kid.

  • She is so hot! I love her accent too.

  • I just read that he might do a new movie called The Quest of Sheherzade

Which I really hope he accepts the part...

  • She looks like she's about to cry when he says he won't do any more movies.

  • he looks fantastic!

  • I will miss seeing him in the movies. He is one of my favorite actors.

  • It's sad. But it would be nice for him to appear again if someone offerred him a really good part. Unlikely though.

  • hes a bullshit.if someone offers him 50 billion to do a work on part in the next james bend film,he be dare.

  • well its very sad that connery will never ever been seen on the big screen. i wish him all the very best for a happy retired life

  • christopher lee is 80 and still doing it
