@cy2kill Because you have detect crashes on. Goto settings > realism, and to the right you'll see the crash settings, turn it off if so when you crash you just bounce around and stuff like cessna did here. :D

dude the HDD aint causing that lag =D Not at all. Its your dual core CPU. I have a core i7 920 and I dont experience any lag at all. Unless the game itself lags without recording ofc it will lag when I record to. But other than that no. ANd thats because its a very fast quad core CPU that handles recording perfectly =D

he has the crash features deactivated. its easy to do. go to realism settings and select ignore crash.

i dont wanna sound special or anything...but i havent...i have fs2004, but when i like to get in a fighter jet and glide over mountains or inbetween the valleys my plane just suddenly appears under hills...even though i am roughly 400 feet above them...maybe in a glitch

Did you raise or lower the flaps at the last moment? I would guess lower, but it appeared that the moment you heard the sound of the flaps, the plane dropped like a rock.  I guess that was the ground altitude catching up to you though cause I have no idea why you would raise flaps when trying to gain altitude in that situation.

I tried to drop the flaps with the hope of getting just a little boost in lift but my speed was too low at that point for the flaps to help.

Awesome video, the graphics are intense. But FRAPS is pretty bad even with a great hard drive. My computer has 1000 GB, 8 GB RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 4700 X2. Yet my FPS is still pretty low when using FRAPS!

Big problem we have here in Colorado is pilots that don't remember that with the elevation here, there is less lift to be found. And those trees make great low flying aircraft catchers.

I could see how it could be the hard drive, maybe it's having to write to a bunch of different fragments or something... heck idk lol.

And from the way that looked I could tell you were going into that mountain pretty early on lol, I would have veered hard right and maybe do a complete u-turn if there was enough room, didn't look like there was a way out to the right.
