Mate you'll love it. I got the 2007 model. Repsol also. It's standard and it's great. I'm still learning as well but gave me so much confidence. I've had it for a month and a couple days and its going good. Ofcourse its not as fast as a 2 stroke since its a 4 stroke but it doesn't mean its slow. I got around 75 mph without it red lining but you don't really need to go that speed unless you're on dual carriage way or something.

Theyre both really nice bike ..I like the chunky type aswell and the aprillia seems to look like it would keep you safer because of that factor, and keep you in the seat :P If your tall for for a aprillia or the Yamaha YZF-R 125!

Yes but you can also get the cbr derestricted. Ive got a Honda cbr REP and its faster then the actual Honda cbr 125. 220kph it does, ive hit bout 210-215 because ive had the restriction taken off. Faster then my mates aprilla 125. But didn't know the aprilla 125 ws derestricted, so guess your write really then.

I'll put a video of me doin the speed of me bike on here to prove it.

the RS is alot faster if u have it derestircted, but the CBR is more reliable and more comfortable and cheaper for parts. Speed vs comfort

ive done it my old ones where for some reason glue'd on so i had to cut them off

i changed my grips the other day and yeah they are glued on, i used a bit of WD40 to lubricate it, you aren't supposed to do it because they might slide off but they dont lol. putting the grip on the throttle handle was seriously hard. i hope i never have to do that again. haha
