ah! good old jurassic park! one of my favourite movies to this day! i was 5 yrs old when it was released so i actually wasnt allowed to see it when it first came out in the cinemas but i saw it a few years later in 1996 when i was 8. love the soundtrack to the film also & good old sam neil who is a fellow aussie! :)
Anyone else think it was kind of odd how they relegated Seinfeld, one of the most culturally defining television programs of the 1990's, to only 9 seconds (12:17-12:26)?
i saw all of these specials, i'm surprised they didn't feature the superstorm of march 1993...we got five feet of snow, and the drifts were taller than my basketball net....no school for a week and no electricity for 3 days....
Jurrasic Park was the forbidden movie as a kid! I was 10 and my parents was by the book and wouldn't take me because it was pg13! They even went to go see it and I had to sit with a babysitter. And all my friends with the cool parents not only saw it, but had all the toys! Finally I got my victory when it went out on VHS, My best friend had me over to sneak watch it while her parents are gone (big bro sat and didn't care) Scared the crap out of me and I regretted watching it! Now its MY classic!
I was a freshman in high school when Jurassic Park came out. EVERYBODY went to go see that. Folks were talking about it in class the next day. Good times.
This is the year I got married, 3 days before David Koresh blew up the compound in TX. I didn't even know the stand-off had been going on, I was so wrapped in my own life at the time. I didn't watch the news as much as I do now.
@ThinkTink606432 it was pretty much the New Coke of the 90's. plus we already got clear soda, it's called "7 Up" and "Sprite". we don't need any more clear soda. but to be honest, i didn't really know about that stuff, and i was 7 years old in '93. i can't recall one place where they had that stuff, so who thought of it, i wonder.
8:18 and suddenly, surprise Padalecki appearance! And he's being his usual adorable self too.
Thanks for posting.

@some1sgot2 very true! seinfeld didn't even start airing in 1993. it debuted in 1989.

They didn't talk about Schindler's List. That was the best movie of the year and Spielberg's personal best if you ask me.

If Bombtrack(0:11) is played at the beginning of the episode you know it's gonna be good.

I find it very amusing the Jp. video game "La Pucelle" blatantly copied the "Jurassic Park" score. :)
