  • Well, just a heads up to the people who say he should go into opera, that would mean he'd disappear for at least 4, but probably more, years in order to go to school and learn how to sing opera. As a classical voice student I appreciate that there's something out there that is helping bride the gap between pop and opera in the OTHER direction of pop to opera instead of opera to pop, but right now he really doesn't have the chops to just start singing opera and be taken seriously from people who

  • Very good indeed, I enjoyed it a lot

  • Beautiful

  • i think wide awake is the best of joe mcelderry

  • Theres no power in his voice and he sounds like a girl. He does have a good singing voice but it is not suited for opera. Well, maybe he could be a soprano ;)

  • What can't he sing! His voice is so versatile, that's the only problem - he needs to find a niche for himself, at the moment he has too broad of a spectrum of voice to find a place in the record-selling industry.

  • You need attitude to be an opera singer, even though joe is a fantastic singer, and i have no doubht in the world that he cant learn to be a professional opera singer.

  • first time that the judges actually know what they are talking about because they actually freaking amazing lol

  • His voice is so great, he's actually making me want to go to the opera!

  • he's just the cutest

  • Joe has a beautiful voice and I am sure he has the potential to go far. I would love him to commit to opera and train either full or part time. Pop stars tend to have a short shelf life but opera singers a much longer one and I think it would be sad if all that fantastic potential was lost.

  • @Cvollmar2011 GROW UP WILLY DRIBBLE!! Prove to me you can sing better than that, or..STFU!!!!!

  • im off to see joe mcelderry on the 23rd of november.

    FUCK YEAH!

  • Well done Joe! Entered the Album Charts at No 2, 2nd week 5, 3rd Wk back up to No 3. Doing better than the Beatles? :) This time around you are being properly and fairly managed. Proving what a joke Simon Scowell is. His judgement was way off with you. He is best sticking with cheap, throwaway, acts. Quality needs nurturing, and he knows nothing about that. Egg on your face or what? :) Whooooop! Decca bagged the best!

  • Nevermind this pathetic bickering, GROW THE FUCK UP AND EITHER SHOW THE LOVE FOR JOE OR FUCK OFF CAUSE UR OBVIOUSLY HERE TO CAUSE SHIT ANYWAY!!! Seriously?! You can sit there all day with ur opinions (which basically mean fuck all BTW) but i'd like to see a video of you doing better than any of the contestants in the time thay had to prepare!!! Send to :- SEKSIEBEXIE and ill upload and show the world just what the definition of a OPINIONATED ARSEWIPE is!!!

  • good but ur a pop star and always will be love yhoo joe bring back the pop!!!

  • he sounds like a woman

  • With 2 or 3 months he mastered all the training necessary to win BGT. Then he signed with Psycho Productions and mastered Film & stage presence, stage movement & behind the scenes music production. (which normally takes years) He then moves into Modeling which further refines his ability as a performer & he gets that in just a few months. After parting with Psycho (excellent move btw) He learns so much about Opera (the single hardest art form in the world he wins that show. He is a Star!

  • @stematfisnyc X Factor*

  • @Ashleymileyandnessa Way to split that insignificant hair and miss the point. By any chance do you produce diamonds with your tight rear end and call them cubic zirconia?

  • @stematfisnyc wow, you just correct something so people abroad know the actual show he won and I get this? overreaction much

  • @stematfisnyc and in reply to your question, yes

  • @Ashleymileyandnessa Ah 16....nevermind. I see you are handicapped by immaturity.

  • ♥ his acsent!

  • He was hardly a pop star .....

  • @adminsource Is three singles in the charts and an album not enough?

  • @reverentcreature - Are you for real? - three singles and an album?

THe sad thing is he thinks he can sing classical - something that takes years of dedication.

  • People did buy his first album - he was in the Top 10without any airplay - HOW AMAZING IS THAT and was No. 1 in Ireland for 4 weeks.

  • So hes got a new record label! Yet people didnt buy his first album when it was out! Makes alot off sense!!

  • OWNED BY RATM NOOOOOOB

  • @Remmel4Life Umm... He got the #`1 in the end. LOL! Also, he is signed with Universal now. Great job Joe!

  • @Remmel4Life Jealous are we? Impossible for you to come up with something more constructive as so limited? Never mind you can chill to your RATM record. Heeeeeeee!

  • i listen to this to give me a lift every day. Joe you have a beautiful sound and your career in opera will last longer than 15 mins of fame in the fickle world of pop

  • God loves little rainbows!

  • wow joe is so gorgeous!

  • OMFG this horrible show is still on, haha. the contestants sound better now than last time though.

  • He should be singing opera as a counter-tenor. It would suit his vocal timbre much better. As it is he still sounds like he's in a musical. Credit to his note-perfectness though.

  • Dear God,

I think that one of your singing angels has fallen to earth, because when Joe sings, I feel like I'm already in heaven.

    Yours sincerely,

    Jonathan.

  • Rolando is such a ray of sunshine! :-D

  • he'll win for his personaltiy and then get droped :)

wdf is this shit :L of couse myleene class is the presenter #UnFamousStar

  • Joe has been fantastic on this show.. His nessun dorma the other week was purely stunning!! This boy was born to sing and is such a charming, beautiful young man with a beautiful voice to go with! I know that everyone who appreciates talent adores Joe as much as i do! Soon enough the rest of the world will realise your unique talent and love you like we all do here! All the best in the final tonight Joe, I'll be voting!! xx

  • I always thought he'd be much better on stage and this just proved it. I'm pleased he's picking himself up after a hard crash back to earth.

  • @supahoopsa001 Yes, what happened to Joe was a hard crash, especially when you have proven you have the drive, motivation and can come up with the goods to be a winner. However, at 19 he learned a valuable lesson. No matter what you offer positively you cannot prepare yourself for weak, inexperienced, poorly managed record companies. His prize at the end of a perceived huge win ended up a consolation prize, i.e. crap record producers Syco. Never mind he is getting signed elsewhere.

  • Una Furtiva Lagrima - really lovely :)

  • Joe is so musical everything he sings is a joy to listen to.For a young lad of 19 and only 5 weeks training he gave a sensational performance. I have watched his progress throughout this show and state with conviction that he will win this competition, and the world will get to know what most people have known for over a year just how talented he is.

He is also very charismatic and very good looking.

    Jovine in France

  • Love him!!

  • so sad that joe was dropped by syco! hes a great singer I was in paris and heard his song in a shop! it made me melt, but I think he's better suited for musical theatre anyway! I see him as aladin or something|!

  • OMG how did he fucking pull that off??? stunning, he's an amazing singer, well done joey :D

  • What a voice !!

  • Oh my God... @___@

  • We really have to take this man more seriously because he is seriously good...have you heard his nessun dorma.

  • @kcupriest about 30 times by now! and I'm still rewatching him! :-D

  • when was he ever a popstar, he won x factor and didnt do anything!!

  • @JennyxxGxx

Obviously not a Joe McElderry fan otherwise you would not state such uninformed rot.

  • @JennyxxGxx Jenny, way too judgemental. It's Joe's voice that is incredible. Syco records took him down the wrong path. If he stayed with music he sang on the Factor, the story would be different. This step only reaffirms my thoughts that he is simply amazing. I'm not an opera fan, but I could listen to this time and time again.

  • hes so cute...until he opens his mouth

  • # week 1

    # he isn't a opera star

    # he has never done somethin like this b4

i thought this performance was great!! i was just like O.o love it joe love it!! <3

  • @mgt436 Yeah... I totally agree, just as much as I'd agree with the statement that since Ian McKellen didn't write the play 'Othello', he must then play a mediocre Iago.

Somehow, I think that the music snobs are biased towards guitar players... say if some band wrote a really good song... but then another band, which had guitar player believed to be the best guitarist in the world, decides to play it, and they say it's better than the original, but for singers, it's different :-S

  • gosh, he's so good no matter what he chooses!!! love him

  • i hope joe wins this simon cowel trwats him shabbily lke he did willyoung mythras90x

  • nieson0727 i agree- thankfully you can teach acting, his voice is wonderful. Hed be great in les Mis...

  • Clearly too good for the Syco folks! Maybe going to the West End (via an acting coach)?

  • There are tons of great glamorous opera singers but ,unlike Germany, theyre never on British tv-so the increasingly chavvy massed British public's idea of opera is.....Cheryl Baker or Mc Elderry very badly doing opera!!!. Why bother. Just one second of real opera singers like Joyce DiDonato or Juan Florez shows what British tv lacks. This country is becoming an uncultured wasteland-apart from Cardiff Singer of world last week.Tragic when UK has such great homegrown opera singers.

  • <3

  • Omg I love Joe Soo much I've always been supporting him all the way from x factor and tonight good luck Joe your gonna do great xxx :)

  • Comment removed

  • Joe McElderry has it all, the looks, the personality, and most important of all the voice. What are al those West End producers playing at, they should be hammering his door down to sign him up for some top production.

As for those opera snobs, they just need to get a life! I wonder if they could do as well with just a few weeks training; I'm sure if Joe decided to persue a career in opera he would excel, he certainly has the power and range required. I personally wish him lots of luck.

  • @MrUffam

They couldn't find anyone shorter than him to play the leading ladies, It's a big problem when directors are asked to work with him>

It would be the same in Opera, you wouldn't be able to see him beside those enormous 20 stone Divas of classical music.

Maybe they could turn that show ' Little People, Big World' into a stage production.

It would be a role heaven made for him.

  • @MrUffam - You are obviously not a west end producer. If he was that good - he would have made it.

He does not even compare well to previous xfactor succeses. He had to goes at the ckae - and failed. Quite badly.

Just because you like someone does not mean that are good.

  • @MrUffam - Opera Snobs - do you know how long it takes to master actual techniques of singing?

You heard Joe across TV - where they use auto tune and many other techonolgy to give you good entertainment.

THAT IS ALL. He does not have the range or the power. OBVIOUSLY as he has failed at both. Pop and Opera

  • @adminsource No he has not failed!!! If you dislike Joe then stop commenting on this video and why on earth did you decide to watch it?!? Stop trolling and moaning, and most of all stop taking the micky out of people who like him.

If you think he has not got range you must be listening to an entirely different performance, in X-factor and Pop start to operastar Joe has sang every lyric perfectly and delivered it with range amazingly!

Joe was dropped by Simon however now has an album!

  • @SINBADASS1147

What other definition of failure do you have? Simon OBVIOUSLY would not have dropped him if he was successful.

This false and huge over adulation by few - has not turned into profits. He is a an avergae singer with bland personality.

Within the year being out he will be finished. You need lot more than a voice to sell records. Something he lacks.

  • @SINBADASS1147 "Stop trolling and moaning, and most of all stop taking the micky out of people who like him."

Bit of fair assesment and you come up with this rubbish. Even those who like Rebecca Black come up with better.

  • @adminsource The very fact you've bothered to reply shows just how much you want to troll on this video! And can I just say that by watching this video you are making a contribution that supports it even though, you don't like it!

And where the hell does Rebecca Black fit into this?!?

Also, get it out of your head that Simon dropped Joe for not making much succsess. The reason he was dropped was because Simon thought Cherr and Olly would sell better!!

    Don't escalate this further please!

  • @SINBADASS1147 whatever "troll means". The very fact you bothered to reply back to the reply - shows how much I got to you.

I hardly have to watch it again and again - you can comment with out watching. Plus I got nothing personal against Joe. Nice lad. But not a great singer.

[ The reason he was dropped was because Simon thought Cherr and Olly would sell better!! ]

Doh! Means he is not a success big enough.

  • @SINBADASS1147 - No one HAS to like a someone - or expressing theor actual opnions make them any less valid then yours. At least I listened to him first - have you ever listened to him live?

He is hardly going to set the world alight - like Michael Jackson. THats what you call a great singer. In any genre.

    Not Joe!

If you dont want to escalde then dont answer - you didn't have to in the first place.

  • @SINBADASS1147 - Opera take years and years of devotion and hard work. Something Joe is never going to do. When a few oddities decide suddenly they know about music - suddenly adulate on Joe like he is the next best thing. It is wrong.

I bet only a handful of people commenting here have ever been to an opera - or could give you a name.

All he is going to do is release album of lyric songs - overly edited by the industry.

If you cant figure that out then ......

  • @adminsource It takes a huge amount of training and effort, true. However, some voices can just naturally find that 'operatic' niche in their voice. Nonetheless, I agree that this kid, no matter how hard he tries, will be at best a light lyric tenor. I also am amazed that some idiots actually think he had a bright future in opera, and to me- I am sometimes amazed by the thought processes behind them. Thank you for a solid voice of reason. Oh- and I've been going to the opera since I was 4- FYI:)

  • What a wee cutie!

  • Good luck Joe. Your voice is too good to be wasted on pop anyway. Pop is not about the voice anymore - its about soft porn stars flaunting their crutches. Hope you get a great gig out of this as you were never given the right music by Cowell & co to show off your vocal talent.

  • @maarissaX

    A very succinct comment.

Last year the best didn't win. Marcella Detroit was by far a superior singer to the others. Hope there is justice this year and Joe Wins. He should reach the realms of Russell Watson in his career, as you say, Joe is far too talented to be a pop singer.

  • What a superb voice and what a lovely guy. Powerful combination :)

    Joe to win!!!

  • I just found that Synco(the people who help X-Factor winners with their singing career afterwards) dropped him. How come? poor guy. He's working really hard. Hope it pays off.

  • Will surely Joe will win this competation. I know he will because he is has the most amazing voice ever and wonderful person! Go Joe, will support you all the way!! No matter what..... Massive fan from Toronto, Canada

  • I love joe soo much he's soo adorable xxxxx

  • Sorry, I keep double posting by accident. It's because I thought YouTube was rejecting my first due to spelling errors, of which their spell check counts proper names. Anyway the critics are brutal on this show, but I'd like to ask everyone, is that really justified? How is this more "cheesy" than X Factor? Here you have panelists who are all true artists in their own right.

  • @doobeedoo2 I don't think this show is more or less cheezy than any other music shows, I don't support the arrogant point of view where ones own taste in music or entertainment is brillant and all the rest rubbish. I'm a passionate music lover, and I love everything from opera to metalrock, all in it's own glory. And if you are a true music lover, that's what you'll do, you love all quality music no matter what form it's in, and you don't rank it to anything but your own preferance. :)

  • No, there are many brilliant singers out there, I listed a few below in my post...which posted twice, sorry about that. Of course, they wouldn't come on the show--not enough cash, not enough prestige, and a massive risk of making oneself appear a fool. If Rolando was Luciano and the show were for charity, maybe it would be a different story, never mind that Rolando is extraordinary in his own right.

  • @doobeedoo2 About socalled "top - artists" on the show, you're right, they'd never come. Not because of the money, but because of the risk. It's completly out of their comfort - zone, only very, very few popsingers today are good live artist, and they know that. Only very few of them could survive to the live finals of a show like x - factor, not to mention this show where they'd make a complete fool of themselves. It's so much easier to turn arrogant and hate, than to admit to a lack of talent.

  • No, there are many brilliant singers out there, I listed a few below in my post...which posted twice, sorry about that. If Rolando was Luciano, they'd have no trouble bringing them on, never mind that Rolando is extraordinary in his own right; it's the perception.

  • joe should soo do west end he would be great for it!

  • Comment removed

  • A VERY pleasant voice with lots of potential! Imagine how good his Italian could be with some great mentoring! Lovely, clear tone, and impressive high range... I'm really impressed!

  • It's too bad the other contestants aren't tougher competition. Imagine how good this show could be if the pop contestants were as brilliant in pop as Rolando is in opera. Let's see, if I could pick my dream group of contestants, let's pick Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert, Beyonce, Anthony Callea, R Kelley...I don't know, who would you pick? Then at least Joe would have to compete! As it is, Mcelderry should win quite easily.

  • @doobeedoo2 Yeah, you know, I quite agree with you, there are no contestants on this show who are even close to Joes vocal talent, but then again, he's a quite rare talent and a tenor, so I can't really think of any other young, male popsingers who can be compared to him anyway. It would be fun to hear Michael Buble though.. :) I think he'd be great, he's not a tenor of course, but I still think he'd be a great barytone singer. Then, Usher, Enrique Inglesias, Mika, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Hudson..

As it is, it's kind of unfair.

  • craft, he will shoot beyond them...

People say that this show is a downstep for him... but I say that on this show, he will learn valuable techniques.

  • @marcsilcockfan1989 I agree with you, it's a blessing for Joe that Syco dropped him, because Cowell doesn't have the musical knowledge to manage talents like Joe. Even I have heard from Joes first audition song that this is a huge classical talent - not a popsinger. He is UK's Josh Groban, he can sing pop "ok", but stunnes in classical songs. And unlike Grobans soft barrytone Joe's an uniq silverpure angelic tenor voice that can touch a heart of stone, and way to good for cheezy popsongs.

  • @SmaaRoe And I also came across that article saying reporting that Catherine Jenkins said that Joe could make a career in opera if he knuckles down and puts in the hard work!

  • @marcsilcockfan1989 I have no doubt in that, I love classical songs and opera, and for a young man with so little professional training he's really amazing. He's such an easy natural singer, he's a tenor, and he's just 19. If he recorded a Josh Groban - like album of classical songs he'd be a worldwide phenomenon, besides, he really looks like a young Elvis Presley! :D Joes best advance here is problably his youth, he's not that scared to leave "his" space in music, because he's still seaching.

  • @SmaaRoe - are you sane? HE CANNOT SING CLASSSICAL. He was not that good at pop either.

I wonder if you really live on planet earth. This is why I don't like democracy - ppl like have the vote.

  • ... now I'm glad that Syco dropped him... because otherwise I wouldn't have heard him perform this beautiful song with his naturally beautiful voice. And, do I think that Joe would advance more under Syco or the guidance of professional singers, Rolando and Catherine? The latter by far!

And under their direction, he only get better and better and better.

People might say that Olly or Jedward are more successful. Maybe in the short-term... but in the long-term? Nah.... with Joe leaning the

  • Joe: It feels so good being gay

  • I think this really shows off how good at acting he is, 'cause on The X Factor he couldn't really do much and it was more about the singing. I really hope he gets a part in a musical. Maybe Wicked? (and I'm not just saying that because it's my favourite) Or Phantom of the Opera. Love you Joe! ♥

  • i feel bad for him, its a shame his pop career didnt work out

  • he's a great singer, but this sounded no different to his pop singing.

  • singing with microphone ...opera doesn use microphone at all...This is the main reason he still sounds like he is singing a pop song or at most music theatre...No real support or breath linked to the support. The voice is stuck in his throat

  • this sounds like he is singing musicals not opera

  • he is too young to learn so much in a short time. For opera is very young. It takes years to sing opera not days or weeks...

  • Interesting concept!

  • fair enough, i wasn't expecting that! but his voice doesn't have the depth for opera, he would be good at phantom :D

  • So glad he is gay (no offense). Really respect his braveness.

  • What a voice! he just gets better and better,

For those who are viewing from home and abroad visit Geordie- Joe for more on our fabulous Joe......

  • aww i love joe, i think he is so adorable. And he did a really good job of singing opera. To be honest i did think that he was going to be shit.

  • Joe is amazing :) I am from the United States and I only know of Joe through the internet but he is wonderful!! I bought his album and listen to it daily. I can't believe it did not do well in the UK.

  • @bburgn8 You need to remember that the UK population can't stand 'winners'! Their psyche is such that the Brits really prefer the underdog, which may explain why the artists who come second in the X-Factor seem to do better overall in their career than the actual winner! There are one or two exceptions of course. Americans on the other hand are quite the opposite. They adore winners and put them high on a pedastal and keep them there, wheras us Brits tend to knock them down from there!

  • @showmoke - utter crap - he is winner of what. Popstar to opera star - is as much a joke as Xfactor.

No serious Artist ever goes near them. This is TV entertainment

  • @adminsource both of those competitions are aimed at a particular audience - not necesarily an operatic audience. What they are trying to do is to bring opera to a wider audience than it has now. If it brings a few people into appreciating the operatic world then it's succeeded. In any case, Joe DOES have a terrific voice, but as Rolando and others have said that he'll need 3 years to train his voice to sing in an operatic style. Rolando had a very poor singing voice when he was young.

  • @showmoke - He failed at pop - and quite badly. Like of Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis - and Will Young - have better voices and success. Joe - not really. Like of Micheal Jackson have terrific voices. Who then is Joe McElddery in competition. He does not even compare well with previous Xfactor successes.

You need more than 3 years. All actual operatic stars - started from birth. Have natural talent and learning and experince. Opera analogus to Ballet. Classical Forms!

  • @adminsource No, Joe does have a very good range as was commented on by one of the judges. Also, his first album did very well really. I think it was 4th in the album charts, but I agree with you that his following albums did fail somewhat after that. Rolando started his opera training at 11 and had a very poor voice when he started. Admittedly Joe is older but does have a head start if he wishes to go along that route. I don't think he will train up, because I don't think he has 100%(continued)

  • @showmoke - THose judges are their to COMMENT Like that - They are are getting PAID to do it.

4th and did well - given low album sales these days. Less than several 100,000s can earn you no 1 these days.

  • @adminsource Just because they are getting paid doesn't mean that they are not telling the truth or not saying what that actually believe in. If you listen to his range in 'Nessun Dorma', he starts off with low notes and there are high notes elsewhere in the aria, so he definitely HAS got a good range. But as I've already said, I don't think he has the commitment to train up as an opera star. When he was asked if he would like to commit himself to the art form, he wasn't 100% definite about it.

  • @showmoke Nessun Dorma isn't really a good show of range, i think the highest note in that aria is a B flat, which isn't that impressive. I would also say he did not sound completely natural with those low notes at the beginning, this being said he does have a good voice for a pop singer, but it is my belief that he could never come close to an actual opera singer even if he did commit himself 100%.

  • @acdcislaw Yeah, sadly you're probably right regarding his future as an opera singer. He just hasn't got the personality for the passion that is required for that art form. Having said that I just love his voice and could see him in the West End in some musical sometime. But at the end of the day, I sensed that he doesn't really wish to follow an opera career anyway, so all this talk of is he or isn't he good enough for opera is all academic!

  • @adminsource If he WAS to commit himself to training as a tenor opera singer, then his pop world would definitely have to go out of the window. Opera training requires a 100% commitment with no other distractions like pop singing etc., so I don't think he'll go for it. Anway, we''ll just have to see where his future will take him.

  • @adminsource .... commitment/interest in the opera world. I think he will very much suit West End type shows as he certainly has the voice for those, but he will also need a lot of training in the acting fields as his movements tend to be very stilted. I have great admiration for the ballet world which is a very dangerous (physically speaking) art form. Regarding opera, my all time favourire is Verdi's Macbeth. I also adore Wagner!

  • I dont know why but he annoy's me! maybe I am jealous! he does seem like a lovely guy tho!

  • @Doolstar1 ~ Props to you for being honest with your statement "Maybe I am Jealous".

Joe's still just 19 & I believe that when many of his peers see him continue to fearless challenge himself many deep down inside wish they had the fortitude & drive to do the same.

This I believe speaks to the annoyance factor you feel.

Others of us see & many of us know that he's a genuine beautiful, compassionate Human being along with having a Beautiful & now also a seemly versatile Voice as well.

    Bob

  • @RomanticBob59 thanks my dearest

    ciaooooooooo

    FR@NCO

  • @RomanticBob59 Yes definitley jealous of his drive i wish i had the confidence to go for my dreams! I'll admit that!

  • @RomanticBob59 he just turned 20 haha

  • -3 -3 love love love!!

  • Aww i knew he would be quiet good bcoz his voice is sorta like opera anywayss :L love Joe

  • Go joe amazing xx

  • What a sex machine Joe is!

  • Hallo, djbridger - thank you for uploading this! I have never seen it before and I love opera. I am looking already the older versions and I am enjoing it very much.

THANK YOU (something was missing after BgT had finished - thank you for that again as well!)

  • amazing voice!!!!

  • I know the show is viciously criticised, but when the contestants are quality like Joe, it is quite interesting. Rolando is a vastly better judge than Cowell.

  • i like this guy... nice italian

  • LOL this is the truth but if Joe didnt come out he would be a big star in the singing world.

  • @XplosionMMA Sadly that is completely true. He's got an amazing voice, I just hope someone else can pick him up or he can get onto the westend, because people really should be hearing his voice.

  • @XplosionMMA No it's not the truth at all, his sexuality has NOTHING to do with it. Think Westlife, Mark has been openly gay since 2005 and they are the biggest boyband of the decade!

  • @XplosionMMA If that was true it shows that we have along way to go before the age of 'enlightenment ' arrives. What a sad world we live in when someones sexuality can stop them from succeeding in their chosen path however hard they work..

  • I love his little "WOO!" at the end. :) x

  • Will he win this show as well?

  • lovely...

  • To ahowe - I did not 'fraudulently' accuse Joe of tampering with the aria. This was done and continues to be employed by the show's prodiucers who are being patronising by diluting the aria into bite sized chunks for the audience. For a beginner Joe shows real promise and with the right training could develop into a melodious lyuric tenor although it is debatable whether his voice would ever be big enough to fill an opera house without a mic.

  • @whereeeruwalk, they should sing in English. Who gives a crap about how these stupid songs no one cares about were originally written. they need to make it a bit more exciting. at least joe was great!
