Well this song is obviously about the religion of love and sex and how it all goes wrong, the joy when it first begins is like a deep religious experience..it raises you up, but when you fall...you fall. I, for one love this version and I have listened to a few :)

This is a horrible version of this great song. Flat, strained and emotionless. Nothing approaches the greatness of the maser, Leonard Cohen, who actually wrote this. Cohens songs are so often thought to be someone else's as they are copied so much. No-one but Cohen could write such incredibly deep, poetic and stirring lyrics.
