Apparently builders, looking for cheap materials, filled cement out with sea shells and rocks; this made the buildings weaker. I can't believe they could do that.
painful but true..Although feathers are still thorny to pass 12 years, and unfortunately, everything we lived our life with fear and pain that we will..
I was almost 4 so i cant remember at all but i think it was the scariest moment of my life. Many people thought life was over since it was said to be over in 2000.For all the haters just keep your hatred it and dont say it in issues like this.
@mustafa01144 i was in tears too when you filthy murdering barbaric mongol turks invaded cyprus and started killing innocent men, women and children, they died from your soldiers weapons you evil bastards, and i doubt you murdering turk scums even value life because your full of hate spite to other human beings , sad but true.
I was in the army back then, stationed in south-east bulgaria, very close to the border. I felt the quake that night pretty bad and it was only 4.1. Next hour we were transferred to Izmit to help... it was unimaginable pain to see all that while it's still so fresh.
My great aunt and uncle went through that earthquake. I remember hearing about the news and going to Turkey the next year. I walked through Değirmendere, and seeing all the destroyed buildings made me feel terrible. I was five then, but I can still remember every feeling.
Awesome video. Very touching. I was in Turkey but I didn't experience it. I was far from the epicenter but still, I could feel the pain and I could understand the pain; the feeling on hundreds of people. What caused more deaths, however, were panic from probably heart attacks to suicide like panicking and jumping out the window of the 5th floor or something like that. So sad.
My ways are ideal when it comes to facing people like you who just CANNOT understand what they are reading! I never argued with anyone in the first place. You started it little ... mermaid! O.C i'm "childish" and i have a "spiteful" life watching...Mermaids all day long!!! As to "keeping my thoughts for myself" GOOD IDEA! But you should have applied it first TO YOURSELF before replying to my 1st PEACEFUL comment, DON'T YOU THING?
uhm...am I talking to a kid or an adult here? Your talk is imature and childish so why don't you start correcting your ways before you start correcting anyone elses.
And so what if like Mermaid Melody and I make videos of them? At least I have an imagination unlike some. Calling me a lesbo huh? You don't know the meaning of the word. so why do you just get back to you little spiteful life and keep your thoughts to yourself.
Guys, i am greek and i would like to apologize about the STUPID comments of that asshole "GreekFromBirth". Don't pay any attention to him! He is a well known wanker! We felt and shared your pain from this enormous misfortune that afflicted our neighbours.
Look, stop moaning about who knows about Greece and who doesn't and just watch the video! This isn't area for arguing, it's a place for replying to the video! So zip it!
GOOD PIC AT 2:45 hi ... my brother was with the Israeli rescue team and field Hospitall . . comprising 250 persons, as well as sophisticated rescue equipment and rescue dogs. The Israeli team began almost immediately to work at several locations with the staff and equipment for a field hospital, which will comprise two hospital wards for adults and children, an isolation room, an operating room, X-ray laboratory, two clinics, and medical equipment. he never forgot it nice video Shalom
IDF and Greek military sent help in the morning, many other NATO forces showed up later that day, I was unfortunately in the epicenter and helped as much as I could, but it didn't help much.
Hia its scal 678 here were from west yorkshire in england it was a pleasure making this video we made it in history and it is the best we have ever made
