If you Just bought Around 2 Jard of thick cotten. Then measure your body and stuff. It would have been much stronger and larger. so It More looks like a Corset. Guys, you can never make a Corset as a novice cutter. So much technique. It's hard to measure your body, You have to think about a Sewing part and stuff :3 But It Looks cute! It just isn't a corset >.<'

@laviah19 In France a corsage is a bodice.. and a bodice is the outside upper part of a woman's dress that covers the corset. I think that's what Lescorsetsdelise meant. Corsets generally have boning in them and are made of heavy fabrics.. but she designed this to look like a corset, not a bodice. People are not very familiar with a bodice so I see why she would refer to it as corset. Even if, the correct term would still be waist cincher which is just a different type of corset. :)

It's not a traditional corset, we all get that, but if it's not a "corset" then what is it...

These types of "corsets" are different from the traditional corsets and cheaper and much faster to make and easier to wear if people like "corset" look but can't afford or get their hands on a traditional corset.

That's not a corset. It's even bunching up around your waist.....and you're skinny! Do the same thing with a fabric that has no give to it, and some strong cording instead of ribbon, and maybe you could call it a corset. (Although technically, a corset has a busk as well as a few other things.) Cute, just needs some work...
