i got a 93 mazda mx6 with a 4 cyl motor for christmas about 2 years ago and was wondering how you would suggest me setting it up to race, right now the only modification i have on it is a 4 in. ractive exhaust and i got the converter cut off and put a glasspack in its place, i have a vid. on my youtube profile if u would like to look at it.

nice car bro. i just bought a mx6 a few weeks ago. it went to the shop today for exhaust, i should have made a video b4 hand. the flex pipe was gone so i was basicly running straight headers! loud as fuck!

Nice car Bro, you should probably do some more suspension upgrades. It sounds like its under steering a bit in the turns aye. I want a MX-6, i got a modified 323F. Just a suggestion for racing. Im not sure about this but maybe you should stiffen the rear suspension up a bit.

E-Center is a slippery lot, she tends to be a little pushy there, and everything squeals there and always sounds like they're spinning out. :p'

And yes, the rear is VERY stiff, 19mm bar, 550 rear springs. ;)

Bought my mx6 for under 400. Runs awesome! Just needed brakes, which were only 50 bucks =). I got a vid of it cruising at 125, all stock! with the shitomatic. Cant wait to throw a 5 spd in her.

get Tokico Illuminas and Eibach springs. Anything else and you're ride is going to be complete shit. keep in mind, you're beating the crap out of front end when you lower it. Balljoints won't last long. The half assed way to lower is stock or equivalent (i.e KYB), cut the perches to allow for coil overs. You're blow you're struts pretty fast, but will give you a big drop, better handling and god aweful ride. A very ricer thing to do might I add.

Thanks!! I spent a good 10 days solid working on it once I had all the parts, Ten days of working all day weekends, and 6-10 hours after work. Nearly ever part on the car was changed, removed, modified, or improved but the interior and the engine block itself, and ever piece of suspention was replaced with either OEM parts or upgraded aftermarket goodies.
