Alot of Kane fans pissed off with the fact that not only did he not win the RR he wasnt even apart of the match WWE dropped the ball with this one.

Kane is so great he has never won the RR but is considered to be one of the greatest RR participants in history.

Ohhhh I am so disappointed in WWE right now!!! They broke his streak of 13 matches!!! For WHAT? Michael cole to look like a joke? Really, and Otunga has no buildup to try right now, he is just a lackey to Lauranitis. Plus, Show and Dolph appeared and Dolph's title match was just before the main event! Kane was not beaten to a bloody pulp at all, he could have done it for the sake of it. I know 13 is an unlucky number but come on....

@Shalaska27 This is what bothers me about the Kane/Cena feud. It shouldn't be about Kane helping anyone embrace anything. He was meant to destroy anyone and everyone for no reason at all and that's why I believe he should have been in the Rumble match. Just because he's involved with Cena doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to wreck havoc outside of that feud. Cole being in and Kane being out is one of the most fucked up things I've seen the E pull on us. Overwhelmingly disappointing. :\

@SevenFootMonster22 I agree. The Royal Rumble is probably my favourite PPV of the year, and the main reason is seeing Kane participate in the Royal Rumble match itself. I was so disappointed when he wasn't one of the 30. There was no reason to keep him out of it.

@SevenFootMonster22 this happened in 1998, he never appeared in the rumble so it is nothing new. The rumble match itself was crap over all, guys like cena were not in it so some of the top guys suffered is well. Plus it was obvious the writers did not want kane eliminated from the rumble, because they wanted to keep him strong. Yes last night did not go to plan for kane, but I am glad kane is not saying I am a monster etc, esp in 2003

@JasonVoorhees6661 That's not what we're talking about though.. I mean the streak he's been on since 99 and I think I know my Kane history with all due respect. True, not having him eliminated was likely their intention BUT that doesn't mean he couldn't be illegally eliminated by say the likes of Cena or Ryder. He wouldn't look bad and would only fuel Kane's fires. Better yet, this would have been the perfect time to have win the damn thing.

@SevenFootMonster22 - I always thought kane should have won the rumble in 99 or 01, even better 99 than 01 despite how awesome kane was, because kane was a animal back in early 99. And I have always said this, they missed a huge chance with rudderless kane in 99. Would it have been a good chance to have kane win the rumble now? not really, the way the rumble ended is the company trying to pass the torch and shaemus's run did make sense. The for kane is making sure he stays a beast months to come

The fact that Kane wasn't in the whole Royal Rumble kind of pisses me off. Especially when there were so many useless spots taken by useless superstars. Awesome when Road Dogg came in and everything, but it was a useless spot. Mick Foley & Great Khali can barely walk normally. Well, Khali never really could. But they expected the oldies to get some pops and the newbies to act a joke for the majority of the RR. I was surprised Brodus Clay wasn't in since he was suppose to be a dominant force.
