This was filmed while they were preparing for and performing the Opera Gala at Baden-Baden. The first scene, of the two of them clowning in the wings was during the concert itself, while Maestro Armiliato was conducting the Bachanal from "Samson et Dalila". There are many clips of that concert posted here on YouTube, but they are fragments and so look very disjointed when compared to the entire DVD.

Heard Netrebko at the Met in Tales of Hoffman Dec 29, 2009. She did well. Elina Garanca is singing Carmen at the Met Jan 16, 2006, which will be simulcast in movie theaters in HD.

Hallo marnier910 das stimmt nicht ganz. Sie hat sich in Österreich nie länger aufgehalten und bei dem Terminkalender bleibt auch keine Zeit Sprachen zu lernen. Alle sprechen davon, dass sie die härteste "Arbeiterin" in der Branche ist, obwohl alle Frauen gerne mal ein bischen faul sind - wenn man sie läßt. Ich weiß das! Wichtiger als Deutsch zu lernen wäre, wie sie jetzt im Interview sagte, mehr Zeit zu haben sich musikalisch zu verbessern.
