@johnharkness Hi John, thanks for the comment. The music is excerpts from various tracks by Jean Michel Jarre. (I have a music licence through my membership of the IAC which should allow me to use music on my videos). Apologies for the delay -my internet has been down for a while)
I went there back in 2007 and I was amazed at the amount of unrestored stock they had there. I thought it was quite haunting, despite the sun beaming down on the site. But now I want to go back there for a day and do some photography which I could possibly use in a University project. It's a great location :D Great work on the film, I especially love the tracking shot, definitely gives a mysterious feel to it. Excellent Job :D
Really nice Trevor. Genuinely, thank you SO much for taking the time to write such a nice letter and send me a copy of this. It is always fantastic to hear how customers are enjoying/using their Glidetracks.
Thanks for the comments. The device is called a GlideTrack. It is a portable tracking device which screws on top of your tripod. Dead easy to set up and carry around. Search for it online. Made in Paisley by Glidetrack (Scotland) Ltd. Various options - mine is the 0.5metre length. (No, I'm not on commission!) Good luck!
Thanks Stephen (or is it Albert Pocklington?!) I heard about the GlideTrack seeing the show by Bob Lorrimer ar Newcastle ACA (plug) earlier this year. See my Bobby Robson tribute video for a first use of this device.
Briiliant video, what is the soundtrack?. John.

Hey Trev some really cool camera work there ! ... that tracking dolly gizzmo certainly gives a pro look to some of the scenes... a top class film man!
you can certainly see that you were a 35mm man with the composition of the shots early in the film.
Enjoyed it ... more please !
