Hey mike, kool '55 that 265 sounds good! I've been meaning to put an updated video of mine, we put a 327 and 700r4 in my '55. It runs good and it'll get it pretty good for a four door. its also my daily driver, i'm planing to make it a gasser in the future. Where do you live. I'm in Florida.
no i didnt hear about it. but i am going to BilletProof car show on March 21st at Don Garlits Museum, its a Rat Rod show. im not taking my '55 but i am taking my Rat Rod. i did go to Turkey Run in November 2008, that was a really good show.

NOW....I'm giving it a serious face-lift.
Done ALL the work myself too.
Replacing the panels, chopping the top when I get out of basic. I already put in a '69 camaro front end and X-frame, and now I'm building a MPFI 327. And a TH400.

it needs a complete rebuild since its been sitting for a couple of years. I'm out in west TX near lubbock. I'll tell you what, if you want it, come scoop it up and they are yours....Oh, its got almost 80,000 orig miles
all it needs is a new windshield and a dual master cylinder and you'll be all set! my 55 has a dual MC with stock drums and it stops perfectly. very cool car!!
DBO, yes I agree. Myself, would have never gave a fo-door much of a chance, its a nice ride can't wait for a follow-up. Maybe pipo will give us a new video soon.

i got one thats gonna be my 1st car wen i finish it,im only 15 rite now,my dad gave it to me because it was just roting away in storage,
mines got the 265 w/ a 3 speed,im either going to put a 283 or just upgrade the 265 w/ 3 two barrel carbs,
and mines got side exhaust w/ thrush glass packs,
i got some videos of my car,check em out n lemme know wut u think

You're welcome. I'm making my '50 into a show car, but it will be my daily driver as well.
I believe cars like this should be shared, not locked away.
I'm thinking about dropping in a BMW V12, 6spd auto tranny.
Rat style deffinately! By looking, it's more you! But hey, it's your car.
I know, I've been getting that a lot.
It'll probably be another 6-7 months before I can post a video.

When you get ready to v8 it let me know, I have a factory 265 and powerglide I took outta my 55. Sweet project!!

not bad a bit loud, kid was pretty darn K.
all you need is a trailer with your 58 you can tow your show ride.
