Here's some proof that we are there to make an ally in the war on terror...i've been deployed to Helmand and Farah Provinces and 1.) there are no oil rigs and 2.) our rules of engagment prevented us (the marines of my unit) from engaging and with time causing more damage than helping. I've seen the progress that's been in just a short period of time since my unit left Helmand and how it now.
