  • where the sound at?

  • i remember this being displayed in the store it haD LIKE 15% of shelf space

  • I wished i could live back in the 80's, there were so many video game consoles to choose from unlike today where you have 3 video game consoles

  • i was so s bummed out as a kid because

everyone got a nes willie i got Sega Master System

but then i got an nes for my b-day

  • I miss how the art work used to be for Atari, Nintendo, and Sega games used to be. The art work is cool today on the boxes, but there's just something not right about it or something not cool as it used to be about it. And it's not a nostalgic thing either, I really think it was better than todays current designs.

  • Ghostbusters...

  • Ghostbusters looks fun, I might get the Sega Master System just for that :D

  • Wow, Sega was cool back then.

  • @viraticwars It was a great system. I had the SMS and NES when I was a kid, but I always found myself enjoying the SMS more.

  • @ClassicVideoGamerMag

The Master System games looked so much better than NES games too... I mean, they might not have been, but wow.

  • @viraticwars still are, but after they stopped making hardware in 2001 they got a little tiny bit uncool.

  • Lol generic black guy is good for a laugh.

  • Neither of you have it right, it's just that, typically, tribesmen WERE black. It's a fact, not a stereotype, but that doesn't make it funny.

  • 0:15 Ryu?!

  • The tribesman looked like someone teacher.

  • @jdb2002 Well I only had the NES and Genesis versions and they sucked hard so I had given up my hopes on that game :P

  • notice that the black guy was portrayed as some tribal loser fucking racists!

  • @Zac6230 I KNOW! TALK ABOUT FUNNY! BEST COMMERCIAL EVER! DAMN PORCH MONKEYS! I'M SURPRISE HE WASN'T EATING SOME CHICKEN OR WATERMELON! WHITE POWER!

  • @PierreDeMinuit And you're a racist.

  • @Zac6230 You're being an idiot

  • @PrrrromotionGiven up yours asshole !

  • @Zac6230 READ EVERYTHING I POSTED!

  • @PrrrromotionGiven fuck you racist!

  • @Zac6230 You still haven't read everything I said. Look at the most recent comment, right at the top. Do I have to spell everything out? And I'm not racist, you and Zac6230 are wrong. He's the racist here.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven stop lying racist ! I know your type

  • @Zac6230 I'M NOT RACIST! I THINK I SHOULD KNOW! All I'm doing is pointing out the facts, and challenging the faults, I have nothing personal against any Youtuber except maybe MarioTehPlumber. If I really have offended you, then I'm sorry, but I wasn't going for that goal AT ALL.

  • @PrrrromotionGiven Im done with you... .... fucking bigot

  • @Zac6230 You do that. I can't be bothered with you two anymore either.

  • Did they just say they are proud of Ghostbusters?

  • @MadaraStv The SMS Ghostbusters is the best version. Best graphics, can use your plasma blasters on the stairs, and an extra part when you need to get past Stay Puff to get into the Zool building.

  • Don't ever play Ghostbusters, ever!!!

  • @ArcadeGames that game rocked!

  • 0:07 - Gotta love the african guy.

  • The most "regular" game system for the most "regular" of all gamers, if you know what I mean ;D

    Mordecai & Rigby approved

  • Awesome system still remember the days when i was playing Sonic 1 and 2 on this.

  • i have the master system attachment for genesis

  • I'm a fuckin 5th level prestiged nerd in all of those games bitches!!! =D

  • The only SEGA console we never got was the SG-1000, it's like the grand daddy of SEGA home consoles.

  • @Lupucillo - Some of what was in the SG-1000 did make it into the SEGA MASTER system. But they kind of marketed the SG-1000 as an alternative to a computer with all the computer - like attachments. And that sort of thing would have not really run well over here in the States in 1983 because Atari's computers already had a niche in the market and SEGA's system, I don't think, would have stood out very well.

  • @dogeymon83 Really? I've never actually seen an SG-1000 even in Japan, they're very rare. It is quite a collector's item for SEGA enthusiasts, like their very early games made while the company was still called Service Games and made recreational games for the GIs overseas.

One of the oddest items in my collection is a copy of SEGA's Carnival for the Intellivision and Sears Super Video Arcade that was manufactured by Coleco. Game by SEGA, cartridge by Coleco, for Intellivision. Wacky.

  • @Lupucillo - It may seem odd, but SEGA was a third-party publisher for other systems (barely). They had a handful of games that they were able to take credit for. But that is a humorous crossover of brand names. Haha.

  • @Lupucillo

I have an SG-1000. I found it in Japan for 500yen. I did not come across them often, so I guess I was pretty lucky.

  • Are you confusing the SG-1000 for the SC-3000?

  • Has anyone had the Sega before. We didn't have this, remember.

  • funny seeing this beside the NES back in the day, those catridge boxes were horrendous and boring

  • nes will always be the best

  • @Mamashmeeky I think both systems are great. Besides, there is only one thing that differs between the NES and the Master System- FM Sound. The Master System in Japan used FM sound while Nintendo used PSG in all of their games. But some game companies, like Konami do an awesome job in the PSG music for the NES, as well as creating custom chips for certain games that were never released here, such as LaGrange Point, and Esper Dream 2, which used Konami's VRC6 and VRC7 chips.

  • @Mamashmeeky How so? Master system was a beast.

  • sorry but black belt > * i can still play that fucking game to this day.

  • Ghostbusters for this was AMAZING! Especially compared to the 2600 version. lol

  • @assassindroidig88 and the NES version and it's engrish infected ending.

  • So, big brother, what level are YOU on?

  • rofl at ghostbusters

  • Note the * next to "Now there are No limits"

  • @Mikeys9607TE Being SMS fan all of life, what does the * mean?

  • @921144666

In advertising it can usually mean a catch.

  • @921144666 That's not a *, that's supposed to be an (r), because they registered it as a trademark - just like many other Master System slogans of that time.

  • @dziltener right on! :-)

  • fuck yeah choplifter
