  • personally I wouldn't have such a crazy electromagnetic field near my computer. But that's just me

  • OMG THIS IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!

i have been working on a project to find out what is the best weapon to beat down hookers with and i think i ave found it good sir. thank you for your enlightenment.

  • don't be a subwhore man

  • primitive vibrator?

  • So.... what is the point of this?

  • DONT TOUCH IT!!!!! 0:30 hehe right? what would have happened if he touched it. :/

  • your a wizard harry,

  • so thats what the inside of a vibrator looks like?

  • Sounds Like DubStep...

  • YOU HAVE A NEW IDEA ABOUT A NEW ELECTRIC MOTOR I THINK,WORK MORE ON THIS THING YOU STUMBLE ON, AND TRY TO PATENT IT

  • Try it with a sphere magnet, it might spin and you could attach it to a generator

  • @ 3:12 and thus the vibrator was created..

  • I know thats coted wire...... but i still wouldent just go stiking my hang nail in that thing.... just saying.

  • I'd rather watch smosh

  • I got here from minecraft :P

  • your mom finds the vibration very interesting

  • 2:10

  • try walling the inside with a cylinder made of think placstic tight to the wire, and then use that to safe guard anything u put in from touching the coil and gettign stuck

  • put those magnetic balls in from the neocube

  • you have now shown me how to create a car without using an engine or a motor. thank you

  • at 1:50 thats what she said

  • it is future technology for vibrators

  • Is your computer safe that close? (Magnetism)

  • ДАЛЬШЕ ЧТО ДРУЗКИ АМЕРИКАНО

  • 4:30 turn captions on it says evelyn does a vibrator that looks fairly treated

  • TURN CAPTIONS ON !!!!!!!! AAHAHAHAHAH

  • I subscribed to unsubscribe...

  • This was a Waste OF your And MY TIME..... KILL YOUR SELF.. :-)

  • LMAO put captions on

  • "I wrapped the magnet in tape so that I wouldnt short anything out, yet im mashing my fingers all over the wire". Now I understand the top rated comment! Additionally, of course its vibrating, I would wager a guess and say its vibrating at roughly 60 hertz...

  • GET TO THE FRIKIN POINT!!! WRITE IT DOWN NEXT TIME!!! JEEESS.

  • Put ferro fluid in the middle. i wanna see something cool!

  • OMG its howard wolowitz!!!

  • How did i get here? i started at belly button piercings!!

  • Put metal ring around penis. Entire weekend is spent.

  • What happens if you flip the coil, does it spin then? It might be just cause one surface makes it vibrate more and thus spinning.

  • Did you ever get shocked by 120v to know what it feels like? ;)

  • what is the point of this?

  • dumbass nerd.

  • My son plays with something toy called Hexbugs that vibrates and moves. If the legs are bent at different angles it will move in different ways. I believe the spin is actually caused by the fold in the tape around the magnets.

  • WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN FEEDING THOSE MAGNETS!?!?

  • Well done you invented the brushless AC motor. Wait what am I missing here?

  • so are you claiming free energy?

  • idoit

  • thats what she said

    (look below)

  • "it's strongly vibrating and it's not going in"..

  • You have GOT to put that thing in ferrofluid.

  • the force is powerful with this one.

  • so i was watching nail tutorials, how did i get here :')

  • Try putting the longer stack of magnets in the way it doesn't spin, then disconnect the plug, and then the wall cord the other way and see if the magnet begins to spin because the ground wire and the line wire is reversed.

  • Now go play in the tub with it.

  • Vibration are from the ac switching.

  • dont use AC dude...DC

  • Try a double torus one on top of thee other

  • @Thedevontree That's an excellent idea. Thanks for commenting, feel free to subscribe.

  • @teddybear114 Such an average comment WTF

  • James Clerk Maxwell would find this very interesting.

  • So you are using the lamp as a ballast?

  • @legogunguy001 Yes, I was using it as a current limit just so I would not draw a ton of current. Please subscribe!

  • Fill the inside of the donut with Ferro fluid

  • @PaladinPK I really want to try that. I have some actually. Comparing ferrofluid in a Rodin coil versus ferrofluid in a normal coil would shed some light on the differences in electromagnetic fields. Please subscribe!

  • @teddybear114 Then put it in the fridge, and you'll get antigravity ...:)

  • try to add a bearing...

  • Waste OF YOUR time dude

  • Put a cylender over it put a rare earth magnet in the middle and it will start spining

  • I would like to see a rare earth magnet (sphere or cylinder) place inside this coil;

Try both axial and radial magnetized cylinder magnets.

    Very interesting.

  • it spins on one side due to the imperfect tape. if the tape was identical to the other side it would act the same.

  • put some mercury in the middle and see how it effects it. mercury because it's a liquid metal and I like to relate this type of weird science to the Nazi Bell who in WWII was transporting large amounts of mercury for some reason. I'm just curious. I have built two coils as well but have never hooked them up. I don't have enough knowledge on the setup just yet. Just a thought

  • That's totally what she said

  • Isn't that a bit dangerous

  • What kind of battery are you using? Is it safe to use it? What precautions should be taken when using it?

  • Without sounding offensive, I'm just trying to learn, what is the purpose of this device? Perhaps in larger scale use, not just a miniature one for fun.

  • Imagine if you get a metal doe nut slightly bigger than the rodin coil cut it in half and place one half of it on top of the coil.will it float or spin.best metal shaped in a lathe trying steel ali all sorts ,you can make the middle like a small shaft, all sorts of shapes to try.would love to play with these toys but not enougth time have hundreds of copper wire contactor coils if I ever did,out of forklift panels were scrapping

  • Much safer to put a lower voltage through at 500mA you'll get the same power through.

  • I have a question, what happens when you have the magnet fixed stationary and the coil is lowered on top of it?

  • you sure put a lot of faith in that enamel.

  • The new winding pattern needs to be done!!! I want to see it with the new winding! With the interlaced doubling circuits!

  • @CliveSinclairZX which new winding pattern? The Randy Powell design?

  • @teddybear114 Yes.

  • @CliveSinclairZX ya i hear ya buddy it seams like no one follows rodin's math! following his math the best winding is to take a torus and divide into 9 divisions, on the first winding start at division 1 cross under torus to the 3rd division following an every other pattern until it returns to division 1, that is 1 turn, proceed to make 9 more turns (or 18 or 24 or 27, as long as it is a multiple of 3) then for the 2nd winding start at division 2 and follow pattern, 3rd division 3rd winding.

  • Today we were messing with one (18 awg 9 total turns per channel) and were testing the ambient field with LEDs. The multimeter was on the fritz so no idea officially how much voltage was making it out. I believe an interesting experiment would be to test a ripple effect with multiple rodins being powered by the ambient field of a single one.

  • @jadon1979 I don't exactly understand. How were you testing the ambient field with LEDs? What was your setup? And what do you mean by a "ripple effect"?

  • @teddybear114 There's a field around the rodin that will activate other coils. You could effectively setup a relay with multiple coils to multiple different channels. We were doing this with a 9v 300ma adapter though. Based on all the videos involving spheres and the Rodin coil I believe the effect would be much better at 12v as this seems to be around the range the vortex stabilizes. The Ripple effect - think of the 5 on a playing card. Powered Rodin in the middle.

  • @jadon1979 That sounds quite interesting, I will have to try it. Did you guys get any interesting results?

  • @teddybear114 I wish I could post links here. We took a spool that had a few feet of 30 awg wire. Alligator clipped it to an LED and hovered the spool over the rodin. The setup was just the rodin by itself , the spool, and the led offset from the spool. There was no core or any other influences. It lit the LED. There was no amp draw from doing this. So I'm going to setup an array of coils around it, pass it back to a 555 PWM and pulse the rodin using that! It.. will... work.

  • Do you think this coil can be used as an induction heater??

  • @ParapaDrifter Yea, possibly. I'm sure with thicker wire, and more current, it could work as an induction heater.

  • @teddybear114 i need to find me some of those kiddy plastic rings!

  • @ParapaDrifter You can find them at ToysRus or Online from the Fisher Price website.

  • buy some ferro fluid! hat would be awesome to see what the field looks like!

  • @tiltfulll Yea, I should be getting an order of Ferrofluid soon. I'll let you know when I try it out. Subscribe!

  • What do u mean? I already made the video. U didn't even watch all the video?

  • The buzzing is actually tuning into a radio frequency.

If you had tuned the coil correctly, you could turn it into a speaker and hear music rather than a buzz.

Because the magnet isn't spinning, the energy is trying to release in the form of spin in some other fashion. In this case, the energy spins in the form of a radio frequency.

If an equal centrifugal and centripetal force is released like John Searl's SEG, the coil wouldn't get hot or vibrate, but rather would get colder and stay silent.

  • i wonder what would happen if you built a larger one and placed a hydrogen cell in the middle of it?

  • how come you don't get shocked from touching the coil. with 120 volts ac

  • Try using Pulsed Direct Current, you may get some interesting effects.

  • So what are you saying?

We can now spin mags effortlessly?

Or can a second coil be excited by it?

  • @TheTruthPusher yes a second coil that is not connected to electricity but has a light connected the light will glow if you put the two coils together

  • @braddo12345

Yes but the juice going through the first coil, can it be used too? That is, if I have the primary leading to some useful load, like running a light, can I run a second load, like another light, completely free from the secondary coil?

  • @TheTruthPusher I don't understand your question.

  • @teddybear114

i DON'T UNDERSTAND IT EITHER, HA HA HA

I think I was asking if I could run a light bulb from electricity which is first sent through a primary coil, and then use that coild as an induction coil at the same time, and get some free ju ju from a secondary?

  • @TheTruthPusher The electricity has to come from somewhere, so that would just be induction and not free energy.

  • @teddybear114 Just wondering if you tried wrapping the copper the other direction so the vortex would seemingly spin the magnet the opposite direction??? Cool vid!

  • Please Subscribe and Comment. I'll be doing more experiments soon. If anyone has anything they want me to try just send me a message.

  • OH SHI~! Guy, i love you:)

  • !!!

  • what happens if you place it on top of your head?

  • Haha, I have no idea.

  • What happens when you place the magnet outside of the donut ? I think the field is similar, but less concetrated outside. It should vibrate still and perhaps try to walk around the coil perimeter or be deflected away from the donut and do nothing but vibrate. Hang it on a string to reduce friction to see what it wants to do. Also what happens if you put the magnet inside the donut? (I know ...not possible without damaging it).

  • looks like a good coil , got the spaacing just right it seams to create a stronger field ..

  • Interesting that you magnets spin around the vertical axis. It appears as though your magnets are sort of a trapezoid shape, I wonder if this is why it spins in the vertical. I guess that will be known after further testing with other magnets. Nice work on your coil btw.
