I have tried as solution, to increase the number of laps to 10 % and it seems that the wear does not become so evident. I would be interested very much to know if you use any other remedy to this small handicap of the game.

they do that in games to try and make the lap times roughly match what they would be in a real f1 car, if what your saying about a min actually being 45s is the case then if they ran it at proper speed you would end up with sub minute lap times which is not realistic at all

yeah overall its one of the best games ever made in my opinion, there r a few things that could need tweaking like retirements and the drivers actually noticing ur there going in2 a corner, but for 1995 as u said, brilliant game, had it come out now, exactly the same but with todays kinda technology 2 make those changes, but keep everything else the same then bang! wow i rember this game when i use to live in adeliade when i was like 5 playing this . This game and Toca Touring cars where my fourites oh and gran turismo sadly the ps1 dident follow though on the ps 2 i prefer xbox now :) psx is still reguard as one tbest consoles ever released
This game 4 me is one of my favourites if not the, this game is a true classic and absolutely amazing, the race was good. Who actually does it like a proper car would, like try not 2 hit any1 and stop hitting the wall all the time, and using ppl as barriers! Lol, it makes things a lot more interesting otherwise the game is just WAY 2 easy!
Did you know there is a glitch on this track on this game. If u select a Benetton (any driver) and u enter the pits but didn't turn fully the AI will take over your car when u made your pit stop. The car then goes through the pit wall into track as if it pulled out from the pit box into pit traffic and hits the wall several times then enters track normally but computer will control your car not yourself and it becomes like a spectator mode and all AI cars will battle it out in the race.
the fuckin memories this game brings back. lord i miss the mid 90s! The best thing i love about this game is the way the engines sound and the fact all of the cars handled differently. And i really love how the cars laid rubber when taking off from a stand still.
for me this game is what took racing games to a whole new level. Never before had i seen a game achieve these kind of graphics before this was such a fun game for me.
