  • Dave, your videos are great and makes the life of a trucker more realistic to those like myself. I am one of those people who take your hard work for granted. Living on the other side of the world, we are always awaiting shipments from Canada. Watching your videos tells me some of the issues why we get late shipments, 'Murphy's Law'. Next time you find youself hauling 40ft contianers of frozen beef from High River to Vancouver, it could be coming to me. Look forward to more of your videos.

  • Hi Dave, your LOAT videos still remain unsurpassed by anyone else filming from within the truck industry, in storyline, creativity and cinematography. It's nice watching something that isn't all ramped up on scripted drama. I hope there is an episode 10 in the future. God bless.

  • Hello David. One year ago I watched your "The life of Trucker Episode 1 to 9. I am waiting for your new Episode 10.?

Please keep safe drive on road and good work!

When truck driver leave home on open road, like police men, firefighter, coastguard, pilots, marine, soldiers, journalist, Doctors without borders. They mission is to do the best job, return home safety with family, community and society. Please take care your rest well, before continues on road. Be safe drive. Best wishes 10-6-2011.

  • Great vid m8

  • One thing i've learned riding with my dad is that late and night and very early in the morning is less traffic and you make better time like that.

  • Hi Dave i relly enjoy your videos. I have a video camera i have used alot on trips, but not any where near your videos. I have not began to learn the fine art yet. I am also a trucker, for 20 years now. Its a great job, I am thinking of going back to deck work i like it the best. It looks like the company you drove for is a good company ,i may look into them they are in my area.

You take it easy and all the best to you.

  • Nice Vid! i hope that i one Day drive through Canada like you,it´s the most amazing Landscape i ever seen.May God bless You on your Trips

  • Is it normal for a 16 year old kid to want to do this. I think about it a lotm and I would really like to pursue a career in it.

  • You make great videos. if you don't mind me asken why did you stop driven trucks?

  • Okay,, You want comments and suggestions,, here goes... I just discovered your videos and subscribed immediately. You have made the best trucking life videos that I have found yet.. You have proven what I always thought, that swear words and other profanity is not needed for a good video as many of the others contain. Your works are well thought out and well made with great camera work. Occasionally though, the music overpowers your commentary,, a pet peeve of mine..

  • David, I think deep down you are a poet and a great film maker.

  • wow, amazing video! so clean and runs smoothly...

  • very good videos..... i seen all but 2 states( hawaii and alaska) and the northern territories in canada...

  • good films professional quality just one thing... way to melancholic, add a spice of happiness to your films.

  • You are an amazing filmmaker man. You have so much talent.

  • Thank you very much for sharing this film with us. Your talents and experience is amazing.

You have done wonderful job. Please keep safe driving. My best wishes.

  • I love this its 100% Truthful

Truck driving is a wonderful job but its also hard things can change within 1 hour, Im from Australia and Trucking here is the exact same to american Simular trucks we have Peterbilts and W900's etc And its great to have a strong rope with america in trucking

  • I agree great film and great narration. However, the scoring is a little loud. Thanks for the clarity on Canada LOL. We are from Minnesota so I know a little weather myself

  • Again a stunning video. I like your pauses in your speech, not hastely, but calmly. Maybe you could turn down the volume of the music. It was sometimes a bit hard to hear what you 'd to say. Can't wait for episode 11

  • This is a truly poetic film, and beautifully shot! You are wasting your talents if you don't become a proper film maker, my friend. How do you film yourself without crashing the truck? Safe driving, and all the best.

  • really good videos you have i liked them a lot..It´s pretty fyúnnt to her you talk about that people think that it snow and you live in igglos and polar bears are walking the streets..when i did truck in southern europe people say´d the same thing when they looked at the plate on the truck and see that i was from sweden..a was wondering do you have winter tires on your trucks in canada??we do have that here and that has almost eliminated the snow chains..

  • in the lower 48 a t800 is the nicest truck, most people run freightliners, awsome vid man

  • Great vid man!it's funny how some people have their own ideas about other parts of the world, some people in west Europe also belive that Poland is covered in snow all year long and the polar bears live there!hahaha:-D

  • Another great video David.

been to the Doctor today for a different matter, but he doesn't see any reason for me to hand in my lgv provisional yet/at all. and just to re-charge my batteries so to say!!

as since the black-out roughly 2 months ago, and stuff, then haven't been sleeping too good either.

so wait and see what the hospital say, and how my health is, but hopefully get back on the wagon sometime next year.

    Mike

  • another top quality piece of art.are you really leaving big fr8te?whats next?

  • Your work is amazing! The way you put it together, the music, the camera angles, everything you do is top notch! PS: I'm a day-runner myself. I love to see the sun rise, and to get shut down by 7pm. Big sleeper you have there. Again, great work here! Keep the rubber down, brother trucker! :)

  • Usually when I see a vid is 10 minutes long, I watch the 1st fe wminutes and go on about my way (maybe that says something bad about me) It takes a lot to keep me interested but you man, before I knew it, you my man had me swept into yer video so easily that before I knew I watched the whole thing. You do such a good job at keeping me hooked that it's hard to turn it off. I'd give you double the amount of stars if it worked that way but will ya settle for 5?! Arizona is a magical place.

  • They just keep getting better Dave. 5*s!

  • Oh come on Dave...that ferry ride must not have been that bad...lol. I have done it quite a few times. What did you think of Newfoundland once you landed on dry shores? Most say it is a place like no other. I would have to agree with that.
