What the fuck is this over-simplified atrocity? I'm pretty sure children can grasp the concept of a healthy life style at a level above being ordered around like a retarded animal.
@wototototototototot it was the 70's and 80's everything was daggy you know that and by the way these ads were not aimed at children they were aimed at adults between the ages of about 25 to 50
The last poster to respond to me made reference to a pun. Well, I would like to offer you a pun that has nothing to do with the content of this ad but that I think you might enjoy! It has to do with Paul's mother Sylvia from the TV show "Mad About You". I once saw her in designer jeans and her back was to the audience! Wow! In closing, I would just like to say that Jamie and Fran from that show were hot stuff and Lisa and Sylvia were not far "behind"!
Why will philately get you nowhere? I have known a lot of people who have collected stamps. They say that it can be a very interesting and rewarding experience!
I grew up with this ad. IMHO it is the classic ad of the whole Norm/Life be in it series. I was looking for the bit where the croquet mallet hits the ball. I must have have missed it or there were variations.
hey, that phone number looks like a canberra phone number, or at least, a number that would work if dialed in canberra (back when the ad was made, prior to all canberra numbers recieving a leading 6)
Nope .. Canberra numbers were 6 digits long and had an area code of 062 ... that was an Adelaide phone number. Add an 8 and you can probably still call it!
I so remember these Life Be In It ads and their favourite slob of a cartoon character Norm lol! My mum occasionally jokes when I'm gettin lazy "you don't want to be a Norm" lol, these ads are classic, takes me back to my childhood years back in the 80s!!!
its the 'twangtwangtwang' bit that gets me every time (archery, 0:20). I remember these ads, sadly...
