This also works in ST, World Version, with O.Zangief. You have to hit HK in stead of MK though.

This also works in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and in Hyper Street Fighter 2. It only works if you've selected Old Zangief in ST and if you've selected the Super Street Fighter 2 version of Zangief in Hyper.

I hate when glitches are done by the AI, it happens to me mostly in Double Dragon Advance, i'm above of any Abobo or Bolo and they grab me aven though i'm really far away from them or jumping while i'm on any platform (Example the place above where the first Bolo breaks the wall on Mission 1)

You should make a video for the Ocarina of Time's "Seam Walking" glitch. It can result in some very interesting discoveries, like that the area under Hyrule Castle is just a huge block of water.

I like your glitch videos. Please make more! I knew this one since I'm a fighting game fan but I'm not as familiar with Mario. I myself love finding glitches. Most of the ones I find are just the result of 2 properties or "states" happening at the exact same time(especially so in fighting games).

Would be interesting to see what the source of this glitch is... what is it about the mk version that allows this, that the other versions don't have? It doesn't seem to be an 'engine/level exploit' like the Mario backjump-through-blocks thing was, just one buggy move...

I was thinking about that as well!

I certinly don't have the skill to assembly trace the game frame by frame to find out what is going on here. I guess it has something to do with the reversal property and the grab, thats pretty obvious. My guess is that the range of the grab isn't taken into account when done as a reversal. If so, then reversal moves might have different properties than regular ones. Of course it really only matters for this one move.
