I don't believe that you mean harm, but this is not kind treatment of your cat. Cats are generally very proud and vain. Granted, some cats can be trained (if begun at a young age) to put up with wearing clothing. However, it isn't very nice to force a cat to be humiliated. Additionally, laughing at a cat is also greatly mortifying to it.
