This isn't a movie about Sarkozy being president, but more about the campaign against others to become president. This is why there's no Carla Bruni, she arrived after. They are not trying to patronise Sarkozy, on the contrary they are actually mocking him in some way. So if you don't like him you would then probably enjoy watching this movie.
