This is the best tutorial video for this program! My only problem is is I have the 64-bit Windows Vista, so I recommend using the AnyDVD program. It is simple and easy to figure out, did it in less than 10 mins. Great video!

I am having trouble with the Spirited Away DVD. I get to the part where you can access the VIDEO_TS but the file is empty and cannot be accessed. It is not necessarily a problem with Handbrake, but with how old or incompatible the disc is (2001).

you dont need that dvd43, if you download the newest handbrake it works perfect. dont touch any of the functions, all you have to do is click source and click on your movie..... after that you select the desination and click start.... ta da

This program is bull crap i have a old windows xp computer which i installed handbrake and dvd43, but handbrake say's that my screen resolution was too small i had 800x600 and you need at least 1024x768. So i try to install it on my new laptop handbrake works fine but dvd43 say's it doesn't support 64 bits windows 7 so i downloaded the plugin and installed it and it didn't work either.

@curlywz28 Some iPods support different types of mp4. For example my iPod nano can't support hd mp4 so It won't load onto it. But it can support basic mp4. Just try to test out a few settings.

Dvd43 is very unstable. It worked 1st time and only that time. It's really hard to remove from your system and I'm currently looking for a better program.

@unleasher08 it depends on how long your movie is. If its like 20 mins then it will go by fast. If its a longer one it will take time. Just give it like an hr the times change back and forth from like 20 mins remaining to 30 mins remaining to like 18 mins remaining then it will stabilize

ms2009grad, he made a mistake in the video and instead of clicking browse, press source instead at the top left corner of the window, and just follow the rest of the video from there, i got a little confused when i saw that too so i hoped this helped

There was no mistake. The software changed it's UI slightly and as a result it makes the video appear incorrect, but I tried to use annotations to make it clear what I was clicking on the older version of Handbrake.

@carl1jefferson First of all Brothersoft is not full of viruses, perhaps you have downloaded content from them before that happened to have a virus, but that doesn't mean anything available for download from them is a virus. Second, there are other Mirror Sites where the download is available so you need not use Brothersoft if you think you'll get a virus.

No, CD drives accept CDs. DVD drives accept DVDs. CDs and DVDs are both totally different things. The drive you are putting DVDs in should say on the panel if it is a DVD drive. There should be a DVD logo.
