Thank you for supplying us this video and the TABS!!! Means so very much to us Beginning and Intermediate Level players!!!

Also love the fact that you do so much material on Classic Rock. We don't find much of that out there in the Harp Coach World!

    Thank you!!!

  • @Elwood441

hey hey, rocknroll is OK !!

  • why is going down easier? i find it to be and so do a lot of other people

  • thanks!!!! I NEED THIS!

    Thanks!

  • Thank you! That was very helpful. I'm learning to play harp again after not playing for many years. I'm going to woodshed your instructions until I get it. What a great riff: has an 11th chord feel. Thanks for posting and best wishes to you.

  • Thanks for your comments!

  • Thanks Great riff I will work on this and put it into my bag of tricks.

  • wow thx gr8 lesson hope iam gonna get that

  • thanks, good luck!

  • wow.....now thats talent....i cant even blow a single note....always 2 :(

  • I noticed while you are playing you use the same technique David Barrets uses that being moving your jaw for faster speed. Are you a tongue blocker as well or do you use lip pursing and tongue blocking together? Thanks for these lessons!!!

  • The jaw is nothing I think of. When I tried to learn this from Johnny Mars records of course there was a lot of blood sweat and tears. But the speed comes naturally the more you practice and get used to it. I don´t use tongue blocking.

  • Wow Håkan ! det så bra! håret reser sej

på armarna....Vill gärna lära mej spela. hälsningar Peter

  • thats very good,must practice this,cheers

  • wish i could play like you.

am just starting to learn and even when i think of giving up i see videos like this and it makes me try even harder.

    many thanks my brother.

  • Great player; great teacher. Thanks

  • Just adding extra information:

The harmonica that is used in the beginning of this video is Lee Oskar, Natural Minor, Model #1910N (Green Label). The music in Green Onions is in F and I play i 2nd position so I should choose a Bb harp. But this Natural Minor harp has the label F minor instead of Bb. That´s important to remember if you buy that harp! Check the list for natural Minor on Lee Oskar website. My harmonica is no. 10 in the list.

  • Thanks you. That was so cool of you to take the time to break that down. I'm off to the woodshed! Thanks again. You Rock!!

  • I always have time for that harp
