  • crazy stuff :)) great work

  • well being a kayak instructor i never hit d water witout one!....wat happens if d paddle hits d head!...im just sayin,its how i do it anyway!....like i said,very talented guy

  • dude u got some skill ill say dat but u aint got a helmet!.... nobody should kayak without one!....dodgey!...

  • If it's not shallow water it's not necessary to have a helmet.

  • you tell him

  • not bad man!

  • that boat is huge.

  • dost dobrý video a dobrej jezdec

  • no ale to je stojata voda... vo vlne mozno nevie nic...

  • já jezdím taky flatwater rodeo a na vlně nebo ve véli taky skoro nic neudělám

  • your pretty good but you need to try and clean everything up.

  • Clean what up? This kid is bad ass. Nice job.

  • Go Nate, your the best, i love u!!! at least i learn how to roll now : ))))))

  • gradz m8

  • Ja. Ich kann gerade mal die Rolle bidseitig und ein wenig die Handrolle ... =D

  • es muy bueno, esto me motiva para seguir aprendiendo para lograr esos movimientos

  • Gracias! Estoy seguro de que usted será grande algún día.

  • Hello! if you like the kayak you have to watch the videos of AUDIOVISUAL4 user, you write the name of the user and you will see all the videos, are very nice videos.

  • Like your vid m8 nice ...

  • keep ur body in the center of the boat when cartwheeling don't rock forwards and bk wards it will be alot easyer

  • i'v been trying to bow stall but had no luke can you give me some tips plz?

    AWESOME MOVES!!!!!!!!!

  • when bow stalling try and make a tri pod so as u get vertical ur arms go away from the boat to make it more stable

  • Good Moves And Great Choice Of Song

  • just picked up the same boat, nice flatwater moves

  • U are half naked without a helmet growninsthe...

  • Quality, What was that roll u did at the begining mate?

  • u lean to far back when u are cartwheeling but good moves

  • great triks what boat was he using and how mmany cartwheels can he do ?

  • yes where is the helmet

no matter how good a paddler you are you should always were a helmet because your not a good paddler when you hit your head on the bottom and die

    but some nice moves

  • For the helmet commenter's: this video was shot in a pond that is about 10 feet deep. I can touch the bottom if I flip and extend my paddle it's full reach down. I hardly think hitting my head is an issue of notable concern. Lol. Thanks for the comments though. Happy kayaking.

  • i feel half naked without a helmet.

  • flat water training is a really good way to work on cartwheeling and most other tricks. but get hold of ken whiting play boating dvd. will help heaps

  • A dvd helps to a point. Everything I've learned to do in a kayak has been through watching paddlers with more experience and the *free* information I've found on the internet. There is nearly limitless information out there if you're willing to search for it. However, a DVD like Ken's does do a good job at connecting techniques together.

  • where is your helmet!?!?!?!?!?

  • were is your helmet?????????????????

  • were is your helmet

  • Very cool. Nice vid. What was that roll you did at the start? Looked very sleek.

  • lol i man just think aout the environmental impact of seal launching from the grass

  • Hi.I am training kayaking for couple of years now, and i would like to start training rodeo kayaking. Can you send me some instructions how to do it or something. By the way you are very good. By

  • Hey nice skills, how do u keep it on its end so easy??? AIRBAGS???

  • Airbags only help when the boat is full of water to stop it sinking to the bottom. Airbags used in kayaks have no effect in normal use.

  • nice

  • your really good, i have been paddling for a couple of yrs and i have a perception whip-it, then last weekend bought a liquid logic ronin so i'm taking up playboating and in the pool session tonight gonna try and learn to cartwheel! got any tips?

  • I'd start with the doublepump - that consists of pulling your bow into the air with a forward sweep stroke and simoultaniously edging the boat towards the side your stroke is on. At the top of the rise, reverse the direction by unwinding your torso and low brace with your paddle at the same time you slam your bow down into water. With any luck you'll be vertical now. There's an okay view on what you'll be doing at 0:54 above. Good luck and happy kayaking!

  • Really nice, i am starting rodeo kayaking.... I don't succed to get vertical :( .i do a lot of practice but... grrrrr.. and i am only 14 years old so my kayak is a little bit to big :( If someone can give me tricks. It would be appreciate.

PS : I take a "class" (sorry, my english is not soo good), so I know the principal technic to get vertical

  • do you can more tricks like tricky woo, splitwheel, phenix monkey, space godzille? do you paddle also in spots or just in the pool?

  • Unfortunately, I have little access to good playspots where I live. So I've never had a chance to try any advanced playboating moves beyond front and back surfing. I've tried cartwheeling and looping in a couple of places, but I usually end up striking the bottom of the river with my ends.

I can however, do the flatwater versions of most of the more advanced moves, like the splitwheel and helix. I guess that's what happens when you have crappy whitewater. Lol.

  • what state?kansas?hehe

  • What type of roll was the one that you did in the begining it was awesome?!!!

  • It's called a shotgun roll or an armpit roll - depends on who you talk to.

  • oh cool thanks!!

  • how long have you been kayaking?

  • I started kayaking in the pool up at campus and I fell in love with it imediately. I started early September of last year. So when I shot the video, I had been kayaking for around 9 months.

  • Nicely done I have a 191 s6f and I can't seem to stall like you. Now I can see that my boat can do all the stuff.

  • Yeah, the S6F is a great boat! I haven't paddled a ton of different playboats but out of all the ones I've been in, the S6F (I have the 192cm) is the easiest to do flatwater stuff in. It has a lot to do with your weight and height, though... Keep practicing! I'm sure you'll get it!

  • you really really suck at flooping!

  • Haha - thanks!

  • veryvery nice flatwater moves

  • you got the spirit.

  • I can't wait til I can cartwheel like that, er, at all. Looks like a blast! Good job!

  • Yeaa! Goog work!!! 1A+++++++++

  • wow... nice work ! :D amazing !

  • nice moves

  • what song is that???

  • It's "Aerials" by System of A Down. Probably my favorite song of theirs. ;)

  • Yep, liked it from the moment i heard it

  • Nice loops man.

    Teach me!!!

    haha.

    Seriously. Good work.

    -K

  • wow!!

  • Still showing me up eh :D

Looking great man, keep up the good work

  • Great choice of song

    Sweet moves there
