@iSparkettei Couse she wants to be the strongest (or was it the richest) witch in the world and she needs something from the richest people of the world that they have touched alot. And the dime is something that has been touched alot.

@iSparkette It may have something to do with the fact that the dime was the start of something very big for Scrooge. (Going from being very poor to very rich.) It may be in her eyes that the dime carries some mystical power, or is the medium in which some great force travels. Think about it. Scrooge went from being very poor to very rich. Maybe she thinks there's a channel of mystical energy there where she can go from being a not so powerful witch to a VERY POWERFUL WITCH. It's possible.
