Coming back, this piece is even more beautiful the more you listen.
In fact, the whole soundtrack is! Arc Rise Fantasia was still good, as Mitsuda's work always is, but the quality seen in Shadow Hearts, Chrono, Xenogears, his absolute best, is very evident with this one.
Yoko Shimomura's SF2, Mario RPGs, Kingdom Hearts quality blends perfectly with his style.
beat XenoBlade in Japanese did not understand much of any thing but it was worth playing through none the less , Xenoblade took 1 month to beat miss a lot of thing awaiting for the english release, Music is awesome in this game and the views/sights , A must have for old school rpg players.

@RadRetro That kinda sucks, I think Mitsuda should have done all the music for Xenosaga and this game to make them feel more at home you know? I'm sure anybody who has played Xenogears will agree.
@gathimest Well keep in mind that believe it or not in an interview with the actual creators this has nothing to do with Xenogears or Xenosaga. The name is merely to show they got inspired by that series. Originally they were to be related but they changed their minds. This is a stand alone title.

And looking at the whole giant robot things I feel as though originally this was supposed to be that war of the giant robots that took place long before Xenogears that they constantly reference but they changed it into their own thing. As to why they changed last second, I don't know. All I know is that Gears and Saga inspired Blade, but Blade shares no relation with any of the others.

@gathimest Sadly yes. Meaning although we have things very similar to Xenogears we still have to wait til we get something that is factually and dead obvious of the Xenogears universe with the same cast or references to the original cast etc.
@omnislash14 Very well! About 10 hours total of rowing so my arms are completely dead right now. :P And also tons of sun burns (I didn't use enough solar cream!). We found a nice island for our tents, everything went well. Some animals here and there but no bear encounters thankfully. It was the Baskatong Lake.
I've been hearing great impressions for this game since its release in Japan. A friend of mine told me it's one of his favorite RPGs in a long time. I'm a big Monolith fan so I really hope this game is announced here (E3?). From what I've heard so far, the soundtrack might be one of the best this year has to offer. Can't go wrong with Shimomura, and I'm rapidly becoming a fan of ACE+ (they made the music for Emil Chronicle Online).

eh...I'm not that fond of automatic attacks.. still looks like a fun game though.

@Arc13 Xenoblade has the same artstyle as Xenogears, Xenoblade has alot more in common with xenogears other than that than Xenosaga ever did.

I've been hearing great impressions for this game since its release in Japan. A friend of mine told me it's one of his favorite RPGs in a long time. I'm a big Monolith fan so I really hope this game is announced here (E3?). From what I've heard so far, the soundtrack might be one of the best this year has to offer.
