Not to brag, but my phenom had 52 "over the fence" HR's between ages7 and 12 playing in PONY baseball, which is the most competitive. At 10 years old he hit a ball approximately 325 feet, which is still talked about 4 years later. It was the Mickey Mantle shot of Santa Susana Baseball ! I'll admit that the $400 bats don't hurt matters, but a good swing goes a long way.
