  • Thats respect right there. I'm a RAIDERS fan too, but you gotta give it up for Joe... he's the best QB ever (personal opinion).

  • Long live Joe Cool....

  • Montana's face when the guy asks him the question in the most flamyoant and stuttering way possible:

" Oh my God, another crazy one "

    LOL, Montana's too cool.

  • The NFL could just put a rule in saying if you get a felony conviction or 3 misdemeanor convictions while under NFL contract you are banned for life. This way you get rid of the idiots misbehaving off the field.

  • joe was thinking "this nigger is crazy"

  • Joe is thinking who is this dumb mfer asking me these questions?

  • Walsh and the 49ers of the 80's simply special, from the top all the down. The only fair comparison is with Lombardi's Packers. Both teams were simply in a class apart. You just don't get that kind of a mix in sports but every generation or two.

  • hmmmmm joe montana destroyed john elway at the superbowl and brett farve couldnt beat john elway hmmmm... i wonder whose better

  • @therealfmb Montana didnt destroY elway. Montana destroyed the Broncos Defense. Montana had a team of miraculous offensive players around him while Elway had a team of fairly good players around him. I love Montana big time but i just dont think he was better than Elway. Im not sayin Elway is better either. Just dont think Montana was better than Elway..

  • Hey everybody let's argue on the internet!

  • Bradshaw threw many more interceptions than Montana and the Steelers also lost a Super Bowl while Montana and the 49ers are five of five, furthermore the Steelers last two super Bowls had 2 "'missed" penalties that were so obvious even a high school football player could have called it

  • those first two superbowls joe won, he hardly had any great players around him on offense, dwight clark was good but he was no where near the league of jerry rice, joe made those early teams great

  • Roger Craig was very good on the 1984 team, but yes Jerry Rice and John Taylor added a new dynamic to the Niners.

  • bradshaw aint shit compared to the supreme champ joe montana your a complete dumbshit asshole!!!

  • This is the greatest qb of all time I grew up watching him play. no one else plays that level of football like joe did. He is truely the best of the best.

  • Not Only is Joe Montana the better Qutber then Brady he is alos the better man

  • Brady ? Different game today. Much more competitive when Joe played. Today's QB's couldnt play back up to Montana. Brady has 10 seconds to throw. Rumor has it Brady doesnt wash his game shirt from week to week, never gets dirty. Brady makes Stabler look hurried.

Montana inherited a woeful 49er team. Brady inherited a team fresh out of a Super Bowl....Without that Pats offensive line----Brady is selling Insurance.

  • The Patriots were not in the Super Bowl the year before Brady was there.

  • Pats were contenders and just lost a S.B. a couple of seasons prior to Brady. Joe inherited a pitiful team that never got within the same Zip Code of a S.B.

Joe was the man. Lott was the man. Walsh was briliant. He knew there were Super Bowls coming long before we fans and experts ever did.....

  • The Patriots were 5-11 in Belichick's first year as head coach. I will admit that they did have many of the personnel that got them those Super Bowls though.

I think the Niner defense of the 80's gets overlooked sometimes.

  • That 5-11 seasons was a fluke. All but one of their losses were by more than a touchdown.

And they were in the playoffs 4 of the previous 7 seasons.

The 49ers, on the other hand, prior to their first Super Bowl were atrocious. They were St. Loius Rams bad...

  • with the two eras completely different i think it is unfair to compare the two quarterbacks since the nfl has change since then.

  • (sigh) too bad he can't suit up again.

  • I hate to break it to you, but most professional athletes do the same thing today. Do you think Michael Vick would act any differently (especially now that he seriously needs the money????).

  • $10,000 well-spent. I'd take Joe any day over that twangy egg-head Bradshaw. The only reason why Bradshaw has four rings is cause of that defense. He's probably pulled worse things than Montana but doesn't get talked about cause...basically, Bradshaw is not as historically significant.

  • yah mother is a bitch

  • I love Joe Montana. He's so wholesome. Where are the athletes like him nowadays? He's good role model

  • With the 49ers sucking now maybe they can try to lure Steve Young or Joe Montana out of retirement, ha.

  • Joe is starting to look like.. Kevin Costner, and Billy Bob Thorton had a kid, and thier kid is Joe.

  • I always thought Joe Montana looked like the guy from Jurassic Park.

  • Thats one smart black dude!!!!

  • I give the NFL about 20 yrs and it will be the flag football league

  • And kill people, torture dogs and do drugs, endanger people's lives... yep, let them do whatever they want. Good idea.

  • Let da boyz be boyz???? panty sniffa??? Wow, what a moron. I agree with ya there vengeance...

  • what's that got to do with it? are you saying, because someone is black, then dogfighting, drugs, crime and guns should be ok? vick's doing his time, and i believe afterwards if he still can make it, then i think he should be allowed back. but yeah, i'm white, and i believe criminals should get punished. i believe in obeying the law, and still having fun. now let's hear your ignorant comment for this.....don't have one? thought so.....

  • i'm sayin dat cause ya'll white you aint shi#. bet ya play wit cock too.

  • my point exactly...you're an example of ignorance at its finest. yeah, kill whitey...you're a bigoted jackoff

  • Your very "statement" shows that you're a bigot and think someone like Vick is hero, well hes dumbass who lost a multi-million dollar contract because he couldn't be anything other than what he was ....a stupid thug. Obama ....yes, Vick...WTF?

  • Of course the NFL can step in and modify things. Goodell is running a business and he's concerned that player misconduct might affect profits. If you had employees would you keep them if they were a perceived risk to your profits ? I doubt it.

If my employer found out I was running dog fights, beating up strippers, running prostitution rings, and getting DUI's then I would be fired on the spot.

There are also black players who favor the changes so it's not a race issue.

  • And I bet youre a complete MORON. Right?

  • learn to talk.

  • joe cool
