Its not christmas ..to me without seeing this particular beautiful performance! I have the DVD now! I have loved this music all of my life! I'm now 60 years old ! I've been told , I make a great Santa Claus! I only hope, one magical Christmas ..that I can find someone one day so I dont have to watch it alone!

thank you for uploading this! i had this on vhs taped off of american tv in the early 90s that my godfather taped for me and my sisters. i watched it constantly, i think it is a fantastic version. i <3 uncle dresselmeyer so much! and the narrator will always have a place in my heart!

I love this version. It was this video that made me want to become a ballerina and ended up studying ballet for almost 20 years. I used to watch this so much that I begged my parents for a nutcracker and would dance with it along to this video. I was so IN LOVE with Mikhail and I wished every Christmas that my nutcracker would come alive and I could dance with it. I am so happy that I still have the video (and my nutcracker) and plan to show it to my daughter for the first time this Christmas.
