@CoolstorytroII JC didn't officially join A Skylit Drive, he was a temp for the leftover tour dates, that's all. The guys didn't want to drop off the tour, so they took JC in with them the night DGD kicked him out and left him stranded after the Saints & Sinners Music Festival in New Jersey.

He's inexperienced compared to Jonny, and while Jag's singing style is whiny as hell, he's even better than Jordan. Jordan can't hold up shit live. And Jag does not compare to Jonny due to the sheer fact that a) Jonny is a superior lyricist as well as having a soulful voice. It sounds to me like you just prefer higher clean vocals.

This song sounds hella awesome because Brian, Cory, and the guy who plays guitar I don't know his name screamed way more than they normally do because Jordan wasn't there, and Jonny was there only to fill the clean vocals but he didn't do even half good than Jordan did and Jagmin does.

As you said "There is no mistaking his voice" and his voice is absolutly heartstopping, but unfortunately every band sounds like... well him. As apposed to sounding complete as a band they just sound like background noise for his voice. Its all about the groove and he hasn't quite found it quite yet. He will tho i'm sure. Not trying to start an argument, this is just from the standpoint of a picky musician =]
I love ASD and Jag to no end, i think Jag is incredible and his vocals are awesome, and i love ASD with Jag, but serious ASD with Jag, vs. Jordan vs. Jonny are 3 different bands in terms of their sound because of their lead singer. I do wish all 3 were separate bands because with all 3 singers it is different but equally incredible. Jonny is so talented, Jag fits the band perfectly, and Jordan's music is legendary, so 3 ASD bands are what we would have in an ideal world.

im sorry, but jonny craig did NOT make DGD. DGD is a very talented band, even without jonny. Sure, jonny set the bar high, but Kurt (The new Singer) is fantastic. He hits all the same notes, and is still fabulous live. Also, there screamer Jon Mess left, and now Will Swan the guitarist screams. They can still put on an amazing show and an amazing CD without there 2 main vocalists. And personally, the band of emarosa is just backround music to jonny singing
dude thats production which was a mistake but the instrumentals in emarosa are just as unique as dgd their just in a different style. really name a band that instrumentally sounds close to emarosa on relativity. the no offense will swans a beast at guitar and id say hes a better guitarist then the two in emarosa but they make great music still and the drummer in emarosa is insane he tours with like nothing yet has some of the most complicated drums ive seen in that genre.

What does it matter what he did, or why he left? The only people who know the real story is Jonny and the rest of Dance Gavin Dance. Plus this whole incident happened over a year ago. Not a big deal. i talked to johnny about what happened a couple of times.he was a very unstable person and going threw alot at that time. he was a mess and he wasnt happy with who he was when he was with them. dance gavin dance beat the shit out of him and he says that he deserved it. after that he called some dudes from a skylit drive and they came and picked him up. Then he quit. emarosa hit him up cause they were looking for a singer. and then he joined them. hes a whole lot happier and a better person now
Right, I've talked to him a few times as well. Mostly when he was with Dance Gavin Dance, and I totally agree with you. At the time he seemed very unstable. My only point was people on YouTube shouldn't really talk about a situation when they don't know all the facts ya know? But I totally agree with you. im sorry, but jonny craig did NOT make DGD. DGD is a very talented band, even without jonny. Sure, jonny set the bar high, but Kurt (The new Singer) is fantastic. He hits all the same notes, and is still fabulous live. Also, there screamer Jon Mess left, and now Will Swan the guitarist screams. They can still put on an amazing show and an amazing CD without there 2 main vocalists. And personally, the band of emarosa is just backround music to jonny singing

dude thats production which was a mistake but the instrumentals in emarosa are just as unique as dgd their just in a different style. really name a band that instrumentally sounds close to emarosa on relativity. the no offense will swans a beast at guitar and id say hes a better guitarist then the two in emarosa but they make great music still and the drummer in emarosa is insane he tours with like nothing yet has some of the most complicated drums ive seen in that genre.

I saw jonny 2 august's ago, and he was pretty good, but when i saw kurt from dgd live at warped.
I was really impressed.
All in all, jonny and kurt are both really good singers.
I just wanna see more action from Emarosa in the future in terms of the whole band

I think you're right. But actually on the last tour they played Lemon Meringue Tie. And Kurt sang a lot of the song. And Jonny stepped in and showed him what OLD DGD was about!

What does it matter what he did, or why he left? The only people who know the real story is Jonny and the rest of Dance Gavin Dance. Plus this whole incident happened over a year ago. Not a big deal. Just enjoy all the good music each band came out with, or is still writing. (whatever the case is) There is no sense in talking shit on youtube acting like you know what happened. It's not your drama to deal with. That's my opinion anyways.

i talked to johnny about what happened a couple of times.he was a very unstable person and going threw alot at that time. he was a mess and he wasnt happy with who he was when he was with them. dance gavin dance beat the shit out of him and he says that he deserved it. after that he called some dudes from a skylit drive and they came and picked him up. Then he quit. emarosa hit him up cause they were looking for a singer. and then he joined them. hes a whole lot happier and a better person now

Right, I've talked to him a few times as well. Mostly when he was with Dance Gavin Dance, and I totally agree with you. At the time he seemed very unstable. My only point was people on YouTube shouldn't really talk about a situation when they don't know all the facts ya know? But I totally agree with you. And I see he is a much happier person with Emarosa. I appreciate your response though, and agree with you my friend.
