@redragon107 Peopel forget that if you look at the total history of godzilla, there have been several. the original godzilla has given "birth" to several others if you look at toho's site. IF destroyah could not take care of zilla and he was much larger, i doubt a monster with no firepower could take him out. the current godzilla is so nuclear powered i think he could take the clover field monster, and godzilla aint to shabby in the water either. he has always found a way to prevail.

You are wrong, Clover is only bigger than the original Godzilla, he is only a bit bigger than half the size of the newer versions. The Japanese Godzilla is an unstoppable nuclear power-house. He's rendered every weapon possibly to be invented for the next 50-100 years useless on him, drill missles, laser beams, freeze missles and freeze rays, all the damn bombs and missles fired at him did nothing. He is at least harder than rock and has high cell regen.
And I'm just getting started.. He fires a blue radioactive laser beam from his mouth called "Atomic Breath", powerful enough to melt diamond, blast two monsters into a building and then blasting the building across a good portion of the city into another building, and snipe objects in high-orbit. He has enough physical power to be able to throw small light-weight monsters across the horizon. His regeneration skill is good enough to regen. from a single organ (took awhile).
Those little parasites are literally FLEAS to any monster of that size.. If it takes a DRILL to get under Godzilla's skin, what makes you think they can? And maybe I'm wrong about Clover being smaller than Godzilla.. I only saw some monster movie chart comparing him to the original Gojira.. and nor does he look bigger compared to the buildings.. And all Clover has is his useless melee attacks.. ill explain why they're useless in my next comment.

Clover's arms aren't going to do anything when his opponent is harder than a rock and takes a ****load of crap to knock him over. Clover may throw him but he'll keep getting back up.

His regeneration rate would probably increase to INSTANT for a minute the second the nuke comes in contact with Godzilla, completely heal any damage from the bomb, and make him so strong that there would be absolutely no hope in defeating him. He hasn't been shown doing this in the movies, but he did it in comics.

@aydenhubenak Since it was a school project, i only had a week to film and finish. Wasn't hard, but the painful part was editing since the computer was so slow.

Let's face it, Godzilla has fought things that would make the Cloverfield monster piss himself... :) I'd rather see Godzilla take on something like The Midgard Serpent from Norse myth, you know? Something as big as all the ocean.... Now THAT would give Godzilla a run for his money.

Everyone says Godzilla would loose to Clover, here's there stats.
Godzilla has been in more fights than most professional boxers, he had literally died, and come back to life. (Movies that varafy this: Godzilla giant monsters all out attack, Godzilla vs King Ghidora) Not to mention all of his other powers, and I'm not talking just his beams. Where as Clover ain't got jack on him, yes his arms are long, but they've got nothing that shows they have any power behind them. So Godzilla would win.

Dude, Godzilla is alot bigger! i would say, 3 inches taller than clover. In the Godzilla movie, Godzilla towered over the buildings! in Cloverfield, It was about the same size as some of the buildings. not all. Also, Godzilla is more sturdy. Clover is just fast.

Cloverfield just came here into the world, and as by JJ Abrams fact: it's a baby, less experienced, weaker, and there have been monsters BIGGER then Clover that have given Godzilla a hard time, like Ghidorah and Biollante...or even Hedorah!

Lol Don't count King Kong vs Godzilla, it was his 3rd movie an the American studio would only allow Kong to win which in the end it was a Tie.
Anyways Godzilla has fought monsters with 3-heads, Space Verions of himself, Things with Razor blades as hands, Plant creatures with Acid that from there mouth. He's been shot, impaled, stabbed, Cut, an even had his skull bashed in by Gigan an still gotten up.

@XDarkF3arX Yo/u do realize that if it weren't for Godzilla, Clover wouldn't have existed right? also Clover isn't that original even though i really like him, alot of monsters have the same body structure (Long arms, two long middle fingers, a fish like mouth and a quadrupled stance) a whole lot like the Rancor from Star Wars as well.

Whereas Clover was created as a warning modernly that men in this booming era may awake things that don't need light shedded apon them. Godzilla is more classic to me. Clover creation purpose is chilling to.

Cloverfield experts already made it clear: The Parasites create a special venom that rapidly produces blood in the host so the parasite can have a nice long lasting snack. And i did say that it's a tie, but debating is fun lol.
