Let me state the blatantly obvious. It's about jealousy. By what I looked into it about suspecting a lover of cheating, and being a little paranoid about it. "And it's all in my head." shows that to me. The song also has something to do with an unfaithful ex of Mr. Flowers. Any story could be applied otherwise, and in songs meanings there is always interpretation, so honestly, no one is actually wrong. No matter the original intentions, a song can mean what ever you want it to mean.
