Religious freedom necessarily means that it should have no say on how the state is run nor on the content of any law (no say whatever). If religion does have a say it removes the religious freedom of adherents to other religions. It must also necessarily include the right to be free from religion, for the reason above and to allow those of no religion to be free of its effects. I submit that no religion (as a whole) actually believes in religious freedom for vividly apparent reasons.
1. christianity would be the state religion of the US and all other religions other than christianity would be outlawed, just how islam is the state religion of iran and all other religions other than islam are outlawed
2. women wouldn't be allowed to vote, hold office or any positions of leadership and authority, inherit wealth or own property, since they'd be property themselves; first of their fathers, then their husbands
As you can clearly see, america has and always will be a constitional republic, not a christian republic. If we become the latter, then our country will turn into a totalitarian theocracy like iran, and we'll cease to be the land of the free.
Even if this country was somehow founded on christian principles, it doesn't mean that christianity was ever intended to be our country's state religion. A state religion is a one ticket to theocracy, and if america ever becomes a theocracy, we'll cease being the land of the free and home of the brave, and instead become land of the reppressed and home of the persecuted jusr like iran today
I like the message, but it always seems that those who want to hold on to these views ONLY do so as long as it promotes their religion / ideals / beliefs ......

A christian republic of the US would be just as bad as the islamic republic of iran. I'll give the reasons in the following post

3. homosexuality would be punishable by death
4. humanists, secalurists, athiests and feminists would be thrown in jail
5. non-christians would be persucuted in a similiar fashion as non-muslims are persecuted in iran today
the 5 reasons i've just stated is only the tip of the iceberg

Gasp! The religious and moral beliefs they believe are eerily similar to the ones that our country is founded on.

5 Stars from me. Nice promotional video. (Propaganda) Thank you for uploading.
Btw: They are right. Religions are great! Perfact way to control morons that are too dumb for the social contract.
The real problem arises when politicians actually believe in what they say - bad thing!
