@olkaLaguz I think that it is translation of Vysotsky-himself. He translated a good chunk of his songs into French to sing in Paris, where his wife organized him different performances not long before his death. However, I-personally translated a great lot of Vysotsky in English, and many people say that it is not worse than original. Check it out on my channel. It is possible to translate Vysotsky, and even to translate very well. It is, of course, very difficult, but still doable.
