  • That was awesome. I have two small tips for you as a sword owner.

    1) Try not to draw the sword at an arc. It's a straight sword. Draw it straight out & then slash. If you draw & slash at the same time you'll damage the sheath & dull the blade.

    2) Please don't clank the sword back into it's sheath. Sheath it slowly or you'll damage the sheath I know these things because I did them too and now my sheath is messed up on the inside.

    Those are my suggestions. Good luck.

    What styl of wushu remind you kuk sool won ? i'm looking for a wushu art of the sword using the reverse grip !

  • Two that I know of, one is _____gum hyung normal standard range sword form, this video is called yuk gum hyung or something like that (reverse sword form/short range sword) .....my master says that there is a nitten-ryo (two sword one) but as of yet (4 years exposure) I havent seen anybody perform it (so lets just assume two).....as for wushu, sadly I'm not the familiar with it, but I do see similarties in movements with kuk sool won/do
